Man when I first heard about Bad-N-Fluence on Get In Where You Fit In (dissing PoohMan😂) I was a fan immediately. I copped there tape back in 1994 at a Warehouse Music store and they didn't have ANY promotion (I don't know how that tape made it to New Orleans back then). One July 4th weekend during Essence Fest I was running it with a couple of brothers from the Town and heard Rappin Ron died, blew my high and ruined my night. RIP Rappin Ron

Super salute 4 providing these classic interviews w/ these legendary Oakland artists! You're preserving a lost history that the rest of the world either slept on, forgot or never got a chance to hear! Right on for that brotha!!! On the real, Rappin Ron & Ant Didley were amongst the best to do it! As A. Doulos, Ant Didley has become a supreme lyricist of the highest caliber & that ain't normally said about rappers who rap about religion but Ant Didley is that one, no doubt about it! Shout out to Bad-N-Fluenz & Ant Didley! Shout out Lord Rab! Keep doing your thing brotha! 1 thing though Rappin Ron & Ant Didley were real cold with them metaphors but dont sleep on Seagram! Seagram had them Ill metaphors as well & he was a supreme lyricist that balanced the art of rhyming from being a highly skilled lyrical cat to a straight mob orientated street poet! Seag could ride a beat & could set his rhymes patterns up real nice while giving you that raw emotion! Also Cydal were straight lyrical assassins as well Eklypse & T-Luni were vicious on that mic! (T-Luni would also be another great interview) Delinquents had skills, Vidal real fluid on that mic with that rapid fire staccato delivery, Goldy (he'd be another great interview) was so damn skilled as a lyricist with cold narratives, rapid fire staccato delivery as well. But man to be honest I let a partna I got from Brooklyn, NY hear a couple of newer Ant Didley tracks as A. Doulos such as "When The Trumpet Blows" & "Every Man Is A Liar" and despite it being Christian Rap, my partna agreed Ant Didley is a lyricist & NY cats dont like to give out them type of compliments to cats outside New York. Shout out to Ant Didley! Much respect! Shout out Lord Rab! Much success & thanks for providing such great content & asking those great questions while providing these legendary artists a chance to tell their stories & their journeys! Ant Didley & Rappin Ron were the stars of that 1996 Cel Block Compilation! I thought they were for sure gonna be the next to blowup nation wide until the fatal car accident that took Ron's life. RIP Rappin Ron! True legendary lyricist! Brotha, I would love to see u bring Ant Didley, Pooh & Goldy together to the table as grown men & witness positivity come from it, maybe a very uplifting song that motivates & inspires people can eventually be the result! Ohh & i can never sleep on the Heiroglyphics crew/Del The Funky Homosapien/Souls of Mischief! Del & Opio were major lyricists! I aint gonna leave out mentioning Yukmouth, he is a very versatile supreme lyricist too & when hes on his game he's most definitely a beast on the mic.

Hillarious! I've been waiting for this! Ant, this is Pee Wee! Dangerous crew! I shouted you out in the Yukmouth VladTV Interview comments. This might far your memory. Yuk said it was Eclipse. NOPE! that doesn't even make sense considering what the bet was. It was Bad Influence and Me against Lunis and Drew down. Not only was the winner supposed to get pizzas but also a deal in Dangerous for yall or the Lunis. I was aleady on Dangetous music. Yes we did rap for a few hours straight. That's why short put is together as a team against them. Yuk says he ran through those other guys. Lol. He says short put a crew against him and his partners didn't have raps. Not the case. We picked the order :Ron , you then me was our order. They had Yuk first up for their side. Yuk went, then Ron went and killed it with his last line "nigga wherw .y pizzas at"! Everybody started laughing and going off about that! The other side didn't want to rap after that. Lol so yeah when you walked upstairs the battle was OVER! YOU and I didn't even get to do our parts! It was killed in the first leg of the race. Hahahaahaha! It wasn't exlipse it was me standing there the whole time. I didn't walk out. Thanks Diddly for setting it straight. I vouch for what you say, the battle was over before you even got your turn. RIP Rappin Ron!

I saw on another interview with Ant Diddley a few years ago they brought up that unreleased 2nd album that was promoted on Cell Block II - Face Off compilation and if anything was going to come of it. Ant said they had about 6 tracks finalized but that some had already been released (Expect the Unexpected feat Mr. Ill & FM Blue & Deep Shit off 1st Cell Block Compilation and also Success is Guaranteed off the Face Off compilation) but that all the other tracks were un mastered recorded on ADATs.
