I'm actually one of the few people who seemed to like the end credit scene. I get that the ant playing the drums is silly, but the circumstances surrounding the whole scene are rather haunting, including that the ant further suggests that until further notice Scott Lang is lost forever.

This is one where I don't love the plot, but I adore the delivery and little character details and interactions. Michael Peña/Luis recounting events never gets old for me. The family moments with Scott and Cassie and the rest are adorable. The villains could've been written much better, and the overall plot is a bit weak, but on the balance, the movie's just a lot of fun.

@@andrewft31 She was also ready and willing to hurt/kill Hank, Hope, Scott, and Janet to cure herself. I'd say more an antagonist than a villain. After her parents died, she was essentially raised by SHIELD (possibly a Hydra cell within SHIELD) and trained to be an assassin. Combine that being most of what she knows with the desperation and constant pain she was in and you have someone doing objectively bad things for completely understandable reasons.

@@WhatKindOfNameNow So what? I mean her life is on stake so why Janet life is more important then her own? . Also - Ava has more then enough opportunities, motivation and skillset(she is a former Shild operative) to kill Ant Man team, but she never go for killing blow (that was easy for her). . About her instincts -SHILD teach her to think like this. You know - SHIELD are good guys

I really liked the first two Ant-Man movies. I am glad they made the story of Ant Man easier for non comic readers and the general public to be able to watch. It was great to pick Scott over Hank and give Hank a nice back story instead of the comics. Oh man that would have been problems. Hopefully you have not seen the latest trailers yet for the next Ant man movie. Just take what you are doing in order. Let's just say with the third one it makes everything in the earlier movies look nice and pleasant. Now I am scared.

Nice reaction, Addie. Ant-Man and the Wasp is a great follow-up to Infinity War. I liked seeing Hank Pym keep his cars in a Hot Wheels Rally Case, the giant Hello Kitty Pez Dispenser, and GiANT-Man in Fisherman's Wharf. I really like these movies, but the one thing that always super bugs me (pun intended), is how they pick and choose when shrunken things maintain the same mass. If Scott is punching something as ant-man, he has the same mass and punches really hard; if they shrink an entire building, it weighs as much as a suitcase. For story purposes I know they can't be consistent, but I wish they had made some attempt to explain how it is different from one point to another.

Great reaction as always! This movie was a great palate cleanser, giving the viewers a good and fun time after giving them the depressing times in Infinity War (other than the post credits 💀) Like, this is the best they could've done with Ant-Man, a happy little side quest story with a character who wasn't in the big event movie... Kinda feel sad for that ant in the end-credits... That scene is set after half the people disappeared if you didn't realize... so the ant will probably keep on doing stuff Scott does everyday 🥲 until someone comes to his house looking for him... Alright... so next up we got Cap Marvel and Endgame... but Phase 3 doesn't end there... one last movie... as it ends on a solo note, with your favourite character, in Spider-Man: Far From Home... My point being, after Phase 3, you got Phase 4. So now I would recommend that after finishing Phase 3... you should definitely watch all the X-Men movies (12 of them)... and the first season of a Marvel series called Daredevil... these are like the prerequisites of Phase 4 in my opinion, in order to understand things better in some movies or series in there... I think you're gonna have a good time with the said prerequisites! They're pretty great! However if you do choose to proceed straight to Phase 4, I have no doubt that you'll absolutely LOVE some of it too... but then some of Phase 4 will be like watching Infinity War without watching all the previous Marvel movies... What I mean is you won't get the full experience the guys over at Marvel intended you to have! Totally your call how you wanna do it... but that's a suggestion regarding Phase 4 from my side! Till next time!!
@Caseytify
@Caseytify Жыл бұрын
Why do folks continue to insist that someone must see two dozen (literally in this case) movies or TV episodes to "really understand" future movies!? News flash: that's not necessary. The only exception to that would be that one _should_ watch all 5 McGuire & Garfield Spider-Man movies before watch Spider-Man: No Way Home.
@suyashgehlot949

@@Caseytify hey! I was only suggesting... and it comes from my own experience... I was confused and had difficulty trying to understand some of the things in some movies/series of Phase 4 I obviously can't name here... It's that desperation to know what's happening when everyone gets it and you don't... and then I come to know it's from the X-Men films and Daredevil series I haven't watched yet (I did after realizing)... So like, to avoid all the confusion, this might just be the best way to go about it... I don't have a problem if she doesn't watch them either... it's a win-win situation... X-Men and Daredevil are pretty great... as is most of Phase 4!

@12:47 that’s my favorite funny part of the entire movie. I cracked up like a hyena so hard when I saw it for the first time.
