I saw this in the theater in SC while visiting my son, and it was just as the Covid shutdown was starting. He worked evenings and we went after he got off. We had the entire imax theater to ourselves.

The number of girls in the theater that said “Henry Cavill is on FIRE!” When he is on the oil rig made me laugh

There’s two versions of this movie. I’ve watched both of them and they are exactly the same with one difference. Darkseid makes an appearance the Jack Snyder version.

I think that 1 of the best things that Snyder added. Is a very real sense of respect and even fear of the entire Kryptonian race by the villains. I didn't see it in this reaction but if I remember correctly there's a moment where both Steppenwulf AND DA SAAD (I think thats his name, the hooded dude that was the go between with Darkseid and Steppenwulf) both actually sound and look physically shaken to learn a Kryptonian may be involved here. Even Darseid was more cautious though not all that scared. And it did accuratly display why they would be. Superman kicked the bejeezus outta Steppenwulf. Notice they actually had to take him out of the fight to help Barry rescue folks. If he stayed in the fight would have been over too fast for the audience's liking. I also want to Compliment Snyder on surprising the crap out of me. I knew it would be good but this is an entirely different movie then what was first released. It's twice as long as the first one because he basically just made a brand new movie and then edited the old 1 into it.

If you haven't reacted to it already, Magnum Force is almost as good as this original IMO.

Now do HONEY I SHRUNK THE KIDS and/or HONEY WE SHRUNK OURSELVES!!!
