This is why I still prefer Professor Hank Pym as the first Ant-Man. I think they depicted him accurately in this video, although he would never cheat on Janet van Dyne aka the first Wasp. He did hit her in the later comics leading to their divorce. Professor Pym as Ant-Man is an deep character when it comes to heroes in Marvel Comics.

That slapping incident occurred when Hank was Yellowjacket, and if you'll remember, Hank was suffering from neurological dysfunction during that time due to a laboratory accident that caused the Pym particles in his body to become unstable. Also, that scene was the result of a miscommunication between the writer and the artist. Hank was never supposed to slap Janet in that scene, so STFU.

Hank wasn't "pissed off due to stress," he was still suffering the neurological effects of a laboratory accident that caused the Pym particles in his body to become unstable. Hank had been suspended from the Avengers due to his deteriorating condition which resulted in him becoming more violent in the filed. Hank was trying to launch a robot attack on a court house where he was on trial for something he was innocent of, and his plan was to stop the attack at the last minute and win his way back on the team. When Janet could see that Hank was completely crazy she tried to stop him from launching the attack, and Hank lashed out at her and knocked her down. The panel was written with Hank flailing his arms about wildly and Janet was supposed to be accidentally hit when she got to close, but the artist drawing the panel drew it as a backhanded slap, and the issue went to print before the mistake could be corrected.
