Very beautiful city but beware as the shops by the hotel try to rip off tourists. We found some great markets in old town a few days into our holidays. A lot colder there than I was expecting but the people in general were very nice and the food at the hotel top class. Take a light jacket and a few jumpers as it gets chilly at night. Nice temperatures during the day.

I miss Antalya so much! Me and my family have been there in January for 2 weeks. It's such a lovely place. It's going to sound weird but I'll never forget the sweet scent of the city and the view of the Mediterranean sea. And what a shame I couldn't talk to people about life and all that stuff, even tho my mother language is one of the turic ones. Now I can't wait to visit Istanbul in January 2023. Anyway, sending my love all the way from Yakutia. Teşekkürler.

Hadrian's Gate, one of Antalya's most important and well-preserved historical monuments, built in 130 AD. in honor of the arrival of Emperor Hadrian in Antalya. The construction, called the Hadrian's Gate due to its three-arched entrance structure, is located directly above the city walls, on Atatürk Street, and leads to Kaleiçi. The gates, with the exception of the decorative columns, are made of white marble. On both sides of the building there are towers decorated with reliefs and beautiful carvings. These towers belong to the Hadrian period. The upper parts of the gate were built in the time of the Seljuks. Thus, they have traces of both the Romans and the Seljuks. This is a magnificent creation that must be seen.

Instead, there are many stray dogs nowadays. And these dogs killed a girl. A real shame for municipal services. It was a shock when I saw that instead of collecting stray dogs, they put a municipality logo on the coffin of the girl killed by stray dogs and they just do nothing about the problem.

In developed countries like Germany or the UK you won't find any stray dogs. Why do you need stray dogs living miserable lives at streets? What is the problem with putting stray dogs to shelters? Stray dogs cause injures to innocent people, many people die as a result of attacks by stray dogs. Stray dogs must me removed from streets immediately.

Nice city, but one big problem making visiting Antalya uncomfortable. There are just too many stray dogs. These dogs sometimes attack people in unprovoked manner. Dogs have no tags and are not controlled by municipal services. Yesterday a girl died as a result of being attacked by a pack of stray dogs. It is sad that this beautiful city is spoiled by the problem of stray dogs. Many people have been injured, some people died. This is terrible.
