Күн бұрынA short five night stay on the Quark Expeditions ship the World Explorer sailing in Antarctica, having flown onto King George island, with Antarctic Air.
Reasonable weather enabled most of the activities planned off the ship to go ahead, with lots of amazing Antarctic scenery and wildlife spotting, humpback whales, penguins, seals and many many different sea birds on display. Whats my favourite I hear you ask, the Wilson Storm Petrel, a small bird with the ability to survive for lengthy periods out at sea.
