I didn't blame you for not knowing the implications of Galacta Knight in Super Kirby Clash. It was the most cryptic the series' lore has been. It was in a non-canon spin-off game and the attack itself could easily be dismissed as a reference. As for lore in this game, it couldn't be harder to miss (the opposite of Super Kirby Clash in terms of being cryptic), so I'm surprised you didn't bring it up, even if it's a small lore drop. It's brought up in the text blurb before the first Shadow Kirby fight in Story Mode, and all of his pause screen descriptions make it clear too. He is 100% the same Shadow Kirby from Kirby & the Amazing Mirror. Despite how it all looks, he isn't evil, he's just playing a prank (according to the pause description of his second to last fight). It is the most "Kirby" explanation to having to fight a previously established good guy (outside them getting possessed by Dark Matter, of course) and I love it.

I think there might actually be a tiny bit of lore in the fact that the masks triple D and Meta put on are highly likely to be Dark matter relics like the Master Crown. So in the final fight, there actually was a bit more at stake since the masks where actually evil and could be a potential threat to Dreamland with the power of Dedede and Meta knight in their grasp.

You don't, these Kirby Fighting games never let you hunt down the Copy Abilities from enemies. Instead, they are treated as alternate characters entirely, even though it's just another Kirby, whom I assume those copies of Kirby came from Dedede's now broken glorified Kirby Copy Machine, which all it does it creates copies of Kirby. That was pretty smart of Dedede for once too.

@@zigazav1 yeah I guess you’re right, but I was wondering if its gonna be in any future games. Also I’m pretty sure the Kirby clones ceased existence in the end of Battle royale
