Tri Force Heroes and the download play spawned one of the dumbest running jokes in amongst my friends: "What outfit are you picking?" "How about Hero's Tunic?" "Good call, but might want to use the Hero's Tunic." "Fair call, but there's always the Hero's Tunic." "Wait... hear me out... ... ... Hero's Tunic." It's dumb that download play gives you no other outfits. But we made it fun. Also, there is a LikeLike in base ALttP, but it's in a single screen you never NEED to visit in the Dark World.

This Mario party was my first one so I kinda grew to be used to the car but when Super Mario Party brought back an original formula, I still enjoyed that just as much but MP9 was again what I grew up with so I don’t really understand the actual frustration of everyone moving at once.

I remember playing Triforce Heroes online with some total strangers, sometimes in the middle of the night and I got to admit that I loved that concept. It was funny when neither one of us had any idea what to do and we ended up running around doing everything we weren’t supposed to do. I was a kid back then and didn’t care much about online communication anyways and I either lost or sold my copy a long time ago, but now as an adult I kind of wish Triforce Heroes was still playable online (without modding I mean). Sure, it wasn’t your usual Zelda game with different dungeons and open world, but I didn’t mind the fact that it was levels you played. If Nintendo can make Mario Party work well online and be good after so many years and tries, I think they should do the same with Zelda. Maybe even make a remake of/a game similar to Triforce Heroes. I appreciate you seeing it as a good or at least decent game, you rarely find videos of people actually praising the game

So honestly I don't really enjoy the original Spyro Trilogy that much. They are fantastic games and I love playing the reignited trilogy because of the controls and the graphics but the actual game feels so dated compared to more modern Platformers however a lot of what made Spyro a bit of a chore for me to play was addressed in this game........ some what😅 I never grew up playing Platformers except for Mario 64, completing scaler for the PS2, completing Crash Twinsanity, and finally ending by completing the Jak and Daxter trilogy. The Spyro trilogy this is the mark for me personally when it comes to platforming and giving a solid reward while trying to go for 100%- I know if you 100% the game you get bonus levels for most of the trilogy but you don't get any costumes or anything to give you a drive to go for 100% controls and the levels themselves which I can totally understand. So for me without easy the trilogy is overall I was 100% the levels and found that I was never going back to any of them to unlock anything extra. No unlockable costumes or something to spend your gems on and very few upgrades in the first Spyro to really make replaying levels more enjoyable. Spyro 2 is my favorite out of the trilogy because it did do some of the things I'm mentioning a little bit better but Spyro 3 gave you every single upgrade pretty much right off the bat and it was once again going back to being able to 100% most levels immediately unless you had to backtrack for one specific thing. They're not bad games but for me personally they didn't satisfy that itch that the previous Platformers I played scratched. When I was younger I would totally have loved the trilogy because Mario 64 is pretty much the same way with even less to reward the player for going for that 100% except for that postcard situation with Yoshi there are no upgrades to speak of pretty much. However Platformers have come so far to rewarding players for going to 100% that I can't go back to anything that doesn't reward me consistently while trying to go for that fabled 100%. Spyro a hero's tail does try to implement a shop for those fabled gems you find around and tries to do an upgrade system with new breath powers things you can buy from Moneybags to upgrade Spyro slowly over the course of the game. And it's not impossible to 100% a level immediately which makes it satisfying to go back through a level with new upgrades and abilities to see what else you can collect. Spyro also controls really good in this game before its time and I believe it's only rivaled to how Spyro controls in the reignited trilogy, the levels are also really open and fun to explore and I kind of wish it had a live system to make making mistakes and dying a little bit more punishing. So overall I think most of the systems they implemented were a nice change of pace even if they weren't done extremely well. Even crash 3 did the slow upgrade system throughout the game to reward players for going that extra mile plus bonus levels. However where fails for me is the fact that the boss battles truly are horrible because most of them feel like they're completely RNG on what pattern they're going to take and while the levels are fun to explore the fact that there's no real punishment for dying means that you can end up just killing yourself to retry a certain section without any resistance from the game itself. As far as implementing the new characters I think they were there just four players to see the models for the characters that you can unlock because there is a surprising amount of things you can unlock for collecting those eggs and that is the main drive for going for 100%. It tried and I think it succeeded for the most part in trying to deliver a reboot to the Spyro franchise. It wasn't perfect can I find it a lot more fun to go back to than the original Spyro trilogy. The reignited trilogy is the only way I can ever get into Spyro again and I typically only play Spyro 2 because it gives me more reasons to actually go for a 100%.

Bowser on Carrie is incredible, Peach when crouching is invincible, and Mario and Luigi are only worth using when their specific puzzles come up (which yeah, with Mario is a lot)

Not gonna lie, they brought back the 2nd one, but it was the EU version so it was different than the NA one so it didnt hit my Nostalgia the same. But that was on PS4, I really want them to remaster them.
