Antec AX90 Review

I've got very mixed feelings about the Antec AX90. It's full of good features, but there are a number of cut corners that just don't feel right in a case at this price tag. See what you think, but I've got a feeling most people have access to better for less.

Mine came with replacement covers and zip ties for cable management. What it didn’t come with was an inventory page so I’ve got some rubber stop things that idk what they go to. So it would appear that in the 5 months since this video was posted, ANTEC has updated what the case comes with. Mine also had no damage from shipping and as for build quality, I’m happy with it. This is my first pc and I didn’t want to spend loads of money on it so this case is perfect in my opinion Edit: I figured out what the stops were for. I don’t need them as I’m not installing any ssds in my build :)

G'day AV, I just did a build in the Antec NX200M $59AUD, for the money it is reasonable but the AX90 is $129AUD down here, that prices it against Fractal Meshify 2 & be quiet! Pure Base 500 which after seeing the AX90 materials look similar to the NX200M I would pick the Fractal or bq! as they are much better quality. Great to get another video but don't stress yourself about upload frequency when Adulting is super busy, remember this is your Hobby not your everyday Jobby 😁

I like the relatively more concise format, especially when it's not a spectacular case. Suggestion would be to cut the rambling back a bit such as the point you were making regarding the PCI slot cover.

So my case didn't come with any rubber grommets or posts for the ssds. Anyone know where I can get a replacement?

I'm sorry I didn't understand but the fans always run at 1200rpm or can the speed be decreased? then I didn't understand if they are loud 60db silent 37db less I'm not English 😅 ( I found a high-end configuration with this case and I wanted to know if it is silent)

I did just that, broke off 1 and 2 slot but needed 2 and 3. My case did how ever come with two replacement slot covers. I got this case for $55USD on Black Friday sale.

It's at the same price point of Antec's own DF600 Flux, and I would definitely buy DF600 Flux instead (and I have one personally). That's really disappointing for Antec to make this kind of product now.

It looks very similar to a 4000D Airflow. And here in the US, the Antec is only about $10 cheaper. Fans or no fans, this shouldnt cost as much as it does.

In the crowded case market this release just isn't thought-out well enough. Price doesn't match features and neither match up well with a customer base. Derivative looks makes it a hard pass if you ask me.

Crazy how far Antec has fallen. In 2007 I bought a P182 and that thing was sturdier than my car

Although their P-Series are descent cases. My second PC is still rocking solid in the P120 Chrystal from them.

antec has fallen so far from what they used to be long ago. sad to see. im assuming they were bought out by some cheap corner cutting chinese company.

I BOUGHT this case around 66 dollars. for 66 dollars this case is meh dont buy antec ax90 buy gamdias or another chinese case. chineese cases are value money they give you more functionality at a cheap price.........
