Wow, I really love this video and am so glad I found it in KZbin's recommendations. I've been always more prone to watch the predators, the big cats, and antilopes in those videos are normally seen mauled or in big trouble. I'm in awe of the colours in the Oryx's face: those, together with that 'stern' shape of their head and those long horns, and they seem to be quite tall also; it's like some sort of egyptian god standing in front of you. So beautiful.

I have just seen your Part 1 and thought it was a one off only to come across this one which is just as impressive if not more so then the first video 👍🏾 I have been following Antelopes from a very young age, inspired by my own father’s interest and to this day hold a strong and keen interest, probably boring my own children in the process! I have never seen or heard such detail on antelopes other than what I have read in books or on flash cards but these videos capture another dimension of breathtaking beauty, renewed interest and intrigue. The way you explained the difference and similarities between the species is just perfect 👍🏾. Unfortunately, there are sooo many videos being posted and edited on You Tube about antelopes that are erroneous. Thank you for sharing the truth. I look forward to watching many more of your videos!

Thanks a lot for another very informative video. As one commentator before I also have been interested in antelopes from a very young age. In my childhood it was very distressing for me to swatch an antelope get caught by a predator. In many documentaries antelopes are seen only as prey, though many of them have very interesting social life and survival tactics. There fore it was fascinating to learn more, for example, about black wildebeest. To be honest, I never thought so much about the function of their peculiar appearance. An adult eland bull is very impressive! Have you ever seen it running in full speed?

This can happen, but this usually occurs in smaller enclosed areas and due to habit loss and fragmentation- historically natural hybridisation was rare as there was plenty of space for these species to roam without being forced to intermingle. Shamwari is only home to Black wildebeest as they are endemic to this region unlike the Blue wildebeest.
