@@faisalmagnus anterior compartement is flexor of thigh but not all of these muscles act as this action also they do extension of the leg remember in the hand the anterior compartemet is flexor but rotation of lower limb is oppisite of upper limb so the popliteal fossa locates posteriorly and cubital fossa is anterior so the anterior compartement of lower limb(thigh) is extensor compare with anterior compartment in the upper limb (elbow joint)"flexor"but you can say flexor without compare with arm but you must say flexor of hip or thigh.
