So many colouss build come to mind. Aoe: flame wall primer with multi burst mortar. This will allow you to prime znd detonate multiple enemies amd do massive crowd control with combo of aoe damage. Single Target: acid spitter to prime and increase damage and either the rail gun or heavy cannon. Long range: acid spitter for priming and the heavy burst mortar for detonations and combo dsmage Close quarters: flamethrower to prime multiple enemies and the lightning coik to detonate and give even more aoe damge and crowd control with the colouss combo effect.

The more Anthem i see the more it looks like ME3 multiplayer wrapped in a Destiny shaped box with a sprinkling of Bioware story throughout - sounds pretty good to me. (plus the level of communication with players and the speed of implementing requests is really impressive so far)

I do want to point out that I have first hand witnessed and taken a part of a target primed once and detonated on at most twice allowing for massive damage. I think this has to do with the fact that if you're are acting in a coordinated and quick manner you can have two people throwing on detonators at the same time allowing for lots of combo damage as long as the status effect still has a duration. This probably also works because the status effect isn't consumed by being combo'd because the duration is already fairly short.

Personally, I play storm but that's because i always play the mage class.(D2 warlock, Diablo 3 wizard, etc.)

Already set up my Storm with two load outs. General gameplay has 1 primer + 1 detonator, whilst my dungeon/ raid group build has 2 (frost) primers. Have to say, I don’t see how the regen bubble beats wind wall. Wind wall has saved my team way more times than I can count. Also frost seems better than lightning and fire for the simple fact you can freeze tougher enemies solid.

Being able to have all 4 of your squad combo the same primer would not be OP. You'd just play a harder difficulty or the effects would be diminished in some way. In D3 legendary item effects are "game breaking" effects but they simply let you tackle harder difficulties. Heck even when the Necro was new and people made the lancer build to push the highest GRs at the time everyone said it was OP but then Blizzard upped every other class's power. Personally I think it would be pretty cool to have more than one person combo from the same primer. Maybe it would open up the possibility for skills that have bonuses on "combo'd" enemies which would get pretty deep.

Ok so let's say you stack three primers on a target (acid, ice, fire). Does the first detonator do triple damage? Can that target be detonated 3 times without re-applying primers? Or do you only detonate once and get 1x detonation damage but remove all 3 primes (effectively penalizing you for not detonating between each)? How does that mechanic work?

Hey Arekkz. Can't find this anywhere. What happens when a mob has multiple primes on it? So you can have a mob with Ice, Lighting, and Acid. What happens when that is detonated? Can it still only be detonated once by a single person? What is the combo multiplier? 100%? If only one person then does that be come 300%?

What I want to know is are the debuffs consumed upon comboing, or just the ability to combo? For instance: You inflict the Acid debuff on the target, then the Ranger uses Seeking Missile. Does the Acid debuff remain, or get consumed by the Seeking Missile? If debuffs get consumed, you may not want to combo until the last possible second to gain the most out of the debuff. Seems like an important detail to me 🤷🏻‍♂️

Has there been any info on stats of these effect? Seems its very unclear when it comes to electricity and poison. From what Ive seen fire does real nice ticking damage to burnt enemies and ice just freezes enemies still. For electricity all I was able to tell was it has a ticking effect that arcs to nearby enemies and damages them but not the target that is "burning" with electricity. I've heard it also kind of stuns the target is this true? For poison Its clear they take increased damage to all damage but I havent been able to find the percentage of increased damage.

A friend argued with me that my frost primer was removing his fire primer - he asked me to change my loadout to fire priming. Is this true? In this video it sounds like you're saying that primers of different elements actually combine to hit a threshold on tougher bosses.

It says this during the loading screens. Fire cancels frost and frost cancels fire status effects, I guess this might be the same for the player if they're frozen or on fire?

Nobody can say for sure but to be honest it purely depends on your money situation. It’s going to have plenty of free dlc and it looks fun so it’s probably going to worth the base price. Games aren’t really very expensive for what we got, as long as the game isn’t broken

No one can know. There are plenty of options to try out the game without fully committing. There's a demo for pre-orderers or subscribers tomorrow, demo for everyone next week. You don't even need to pay the full amount on launch day, you could subscribe to Origin Access Premier for a month to see if it's worth.

It's strongly weighted towards the Javelin you're using, but you will still get drops for other Javelins. And no trading.

I guess the proper question to ask you here would be: are the enemies getting primed? If is enemy is primed then you can use your detonator to combo your target. To know if an enemy is primed or not is by looking above your targets name and seeing if a red symbol appears above their head after you have used your primer. A visual effect will also be on an enemy depending on the element of the primer. Some enemies also have resistances towards elements making them harder to prime. And enemies with shields (the ones with blue bars above their health bars) cannot be primed until you break their shield. Bosses on the other hand cannot be primed no matter what.
