This game doesn't deserve all of the extreme hate it's getting. It's not a perfect game. But, it's not Fallout 76, No Man's Sky or Mass Effect Andromeda either.

From my 20 hours with the game I thought it was terrible in nearly every aspect. There is good reason it's getting flack, if you like it fair enough. But if you've played the game it's not hard to understand why the general consensus is negative.

@@GamingRobioto I said the game isn't perfect my no means, but, let's get real. A lot of the hate-mongering is from people that hate EA. And are Warframe players, when Destiny first came out. You heard a lot of just play Warframe instead. There are flaws no doubt, I like looter shooters. And will also play The Division 2 for that same reason.

In my experience supply drop rate increases the amount of items from a harvestable object. So instead of just getting chimeric compound you get a compound plus weapon plus ember etc. Harvest is a hit and miss for me. I have a harvest build on my storm(~350) but I dont get any more than 3-7 components per.

Hey Arekkz The legendary weapon at 03:23 has + 200 dmg but a gear icon next to it. That means it only applies to this specific weapon if I understood your previous explanation corret and not for everything.

I have now 40h on this game now after a few days, I like it obviously, so fan bois dont bother replying about 'haters of ea' and I will not say anything about all the bugs (I cant even start expeditions normally, my javellin in fort is bugged and can't enter it) but OMFG its 2019 and looters have been around for so many years, we NEED quality of life updates for this game that every other game has. I genuine think that noone that plays looters has tested this thing before releasing it. a) we need a filter that can sort items by name. especially for components I am at a point that if I have the loot I will just dis it on the end expedition screen because it is just a pain to go find it and compare it with the one I have. and a 'dis all epic and lower' button. b) track quest is a joke. Who in their right mind thought that when players want to track a quest what he needs to be reminded of is the quest NAME and not the actual "xx out of yy actions" that he needs to complete?!??! c) a minimap / radar that works. custom waypoints and event markers on the map d) chat e) pings for 'assist me' 'help me' 'whatever' throw in a 'dance' as well if you want ffs, can be monetized for those sweet $$ lost track of letters) mouseover explanation of what the hell every ability and weapon does and how it is calculated. Why do I HAVE to go to reddit or youtube to find out how this game works and how I should build my javelin instead of finding out builds for myself?!!! ) end game stats screen and a training area where you can attack a dummy for build testing ) randomized affixes is fine and the way a looter works BUT learn from the mistakes of others, dont replicate them! create pools of affixes that can be randomly selected for each ability/weapon. Getting a bad roll is one thing, getting a "on gear only: +lighting damage" on an ability that does fire damage is stupid and bad for the game that needs players to grind for hours and be happy to do that again the next day. Just wrote those out of my head if I sit down and list everything I ll need to start up word not yt comments. But one last thing... autoaiming... I guess they need to have it on the console versions, but why is this a thing in the pc ? It always felt like it was on, but try out the ranger's spark beam and omg it is on and it is aggressively on! I was trying to miss on purpose and the game just snapped my cursor back to the enemies, it was not even funny. It's ok if I miss bioware! I like this game and I want to grind for a long time... but I just don't see how long I can put up with all its bugs and frustration is causes me.

Thanks for the video. What I think is that DUDS (+ 200 % Physical DMG on Fireball only) should not be a thing. Also like elemental DMG ona auto cannon or anything else like that. Either give us higher drop chance with all the duds in the poll or keep tha loot chance but expunge the duds. This is frustrating because many people get rarely any luck with MW and Leg.

So let's turn the game that makes you work for your gear and set pieces to hand out everything with no work involved. That would in return make the game rewarding and fulfilling right? Why not just rename it destiny and get rid of custom roll on items all together? Get real.

@@Alex-gn6ii With legendary contracts and the chance from any random enemy dropping masterworks they're more common than people think. I tend to believe once you get everything you want and have nothing to grind for that's when shooter and looters die.

Arekkz, Question, running a storm and I have recently got the Stasis Chain Focus Seal. Masterwork item. This does straight raw damage. no primer nor detonator. This also does not have a Radius stat when looking at it next to damage and recharge. Does this mean that it does impact damage?eeing that there is no radius,which im thinking that is the blast damage radius, do i run my impact up? Bolt also arcs to 2 more near by targets so i should find a component that increases the number of chain combos by 2? does that mean im going to strike 5 people at a time?

I need to know what "Combo Augment" means for the Storm. Also, "increases combo by 1"

It means you can combo twice off the same target Normally you combo and that's it any other detonator won't combo even if the target is still primed With that combo augment you can now combo again on the same target The awesome part about it though is that it instantly fixes the storms biggest combo weakness For example without combo augment You prime somebody with freeze and you detonate him and activate storms combo that freezes like 4 or 5 enemies nearby and that's it That is a very weak combo and interceptor does the job better by spreading ice aura everywhere But now WITH combo augment you can dominate the entire field Because it has a cool trick to it You prime target 1 and detonate him 5 guys around target 1 are frozen Don't detonate the same target twice Detonate a other primed guy that got frozen from the initial detonation because he has more guys next to him Now you spread the area of primed targets further but because you combo on another target you can again keep doing combo's on other targets As long as you don't detonate the same target twice The combo augment mechanic keeps detonating other targets as if it's the second detonation So you can spread the primed effect on everyone My friend plays storm and has combo augment When we play tyrant mine all those spiders that keep coming out of the cave during the boss battle are permanently frozen because he does the trick I explained above So I get free mele kills as interceptor and no one attacks because everybody is frozen It's super OP and should never be nerfed 😂

Hmm “Support +25% Speed” has a javelin icon... are we sure that doesn’t increase the recharge speed of everything (rather than the support ability) it seems weird that “support drop rate” and “support luck” are about the type and rarity of drops and “support speed” is about the recharge rate of the support ability (wish they named some of these inscriptions better)

Can confirm that you *HAVE* to have a decent amount of luck to get legendaries. Running on a masterwork storm build that does oodles of damage and has 0 luck for a full week running things like strongholds over and over resulted in 0 legendary drops, but I was swimming in masterworks. Swapping over to a ranger that's just barely epic tear with just random rolled gear and a little bit of luck resulted in a legendary drop the first mission he was out. Having 0 luck with a damage focus will gimp the hell out of you for loot drops, which is a bit of a broken system imo.

I’m having a blast with this game. Have played well over 40 hours this weekend and still not finished campaign. People like Shillup and UE rushed out to do reviews on a game they knew wouldn’t be fixed until the 22nd and called it broke etc...basically getting views and from that whole ‘NOT EA’” crowd which in turn drives $$. My opines is this, if a game looks good to me I’m buying it. If I enjoy it, great, if I don’t then it comes off my PS4 hard drive. If I listened to reviews like shillup or UE back when I was a kid I never would have seen the movies Jaws, Star Wars or many others that the so called “reviewer” said we’re not good.

@7:45 Can you clarify what you mean by "gear and weapon components" in this context? Are you saying that Supply drop rate increases the chance of "getting a loot drop" from killing enemies? While the "Luck" roll increases the possibility of said loot drop being of higher rarity? (ie. Epic instead of Rare) I just assumed that "Supply drop rate" was referring to Ammo & Health drops collectively, and not 'loot'.

There are a lot but it doesn’t have terrible reviews by everyone. Good review to watch imo is Rurikhans and also a great video about it is in this channel. Called Why I still enjoy the game despite its issues. Also a great deal of people like Arekkz here enjoy it and post videos about it often. I play on both PC and PS4 Pro and think it’s a blast. It has issues for sure. All I can say is maybe go to a friends, use game sharing, pay 5-15 bucks for Origin Premier/EA Access and try it out. Despite what some say you may enjoy it. Then again maybe you don’t. I love shooters and rpgs. This is for me one of the most fun games I have played in a long time. Absolute blast and I’ve played all the new PS4 Pro exclusives as well as most other looter shooters and AAA releases plus high quality indie games. It’s not for everyone but it’s definitely very fun for me.

Since there is no rerolling, i need to know can any inscription be found on any weapon, ie. i find an item that has +% auto cannon, lb damage %, rb damage % and maybe %armor. or it it selective stats per 4 stats. like u cant have those four as there will alwats be a pick up radius or ammo inscription.

Arekkz I know this is a bit late of a question. Is Blast Damage any kind of elemental damage? Like is there a symbol in game that says "this is blast damage" is what im curious about. I know impact dmg is the little white diamond that you see on guns. Unsure about blast though.

If I have a stat on my weapon that has the javelin (I use a ranger) icon and it says physical +10% does that mean that damage applies to my weapons too? Or is it just skills that don't output elemental attacks. (I have frost gernades/pulse blast)

Is armor and shield % apply on base armor and shield,like the components or does it apply to the total amount? Just curious because i could stack about 250% armor o my colossus,and if that apply on the total,that would be actually massive. But i coulden't find any certain info on that

So after watching 3/4 of this video and regarding the Interceptor... The Interceptor's melee attacks are seen as impact damage (non-aoe) *AND* physical damage (non-elemental based). So items with "Physical", "Melee" or "Impact" damage bonuses "should" increase the melee damage output of the Interceptor. Does that sound 'bout right?
