Oh how I wish they'd record an album together. The best ever❤

I wish that the stream from Tokio was made into the album, it was top of the top. And this performance of Anthem was one of the best I've heard...

Heartfelt, stirring rendition from two velvet voices with a beautiful friendship. What more could you ask for? 🙏👏

I’ve got to say, hearing Hadley perform this song live at Chess in Concert was one of the most surreal musical theatre experiences I’ve had - it’s perfect for his voice and while I think Ramin is INCREDIBLE and he sounds brilliant always, Hadley takes this song to another level and if you haven’t heard the bootleg of it online, definitely give it a listen!

have you ever heard Josh Groban singing this???? Look it up!
@danthirlaway645 ай бұрын
@@elisabethnerolk2283 I have and perhaps it’s my bias from having seen Hadley do it on stage (and with a Russian accent), I still prefer when he performs it. Though whenever I watch that concert version with Josh Groban, Adam Pascal, Idina Menzel et all, I’m still floored by his version

Thank you for this! Ive been trying so hard to get a copy of this performance ever since I watched them do this song on the Rehearsal Room stream. My favourite guys singing from my favourite musical! ❤ Like everyone else here, I wish Ramin and Hadley would do an album together, or at least release the Researsal Room sessions on DVD...

[HADLEY] No man, no madness Though their sad power may prevail Can possess, conquer, my country's heart They rise to fail [RAMIN] She is eternal Long before nations' lines were drawn When no flags flew, when no armies stood My land was born [HADLEY] And you ask me why I love her Through wars, death, and despair [RAMIN] She is the constant, we, who don't care [HADLEY] And you wonder will I leave her But how? [BOTH (Ramin singing melody, Hadley singing harmony)] I cross over borders but I'm still there now How can I leave her? Where would I start? Let man's petty nations tear themselves apart My land's only borders lie around my heart

I’m a little unclear who sang the high note at the end. It sounded like Hadley but I thought Ramin had the higher voice between the two.
