I've always loved Bioware. Kotor is legend. Mass Effect had awesome characters and storytelling even though Shepard had to die. It left for a shocking ending and has left a weight on my heart to this day. I still liked andromeda even with all the bugs. Dragon age was a great series as well, considering the repetition in DA2, I still really enjoyed them. Swtor online had wonderful stories and Characters. Bioware is one of the masters of stories and character building. Anthem is a different turn for them, but really looking forward to it. I know I will be playing in between Destiny. 😊

I want a melee weapon, that's all. Not like "oh there's a melee button and you see a knife for a second", no, I want to be able to wield a melee weapon. Guns have ammo but, unless you're Destiny, swords don't.

They said that the storm javelin has a sword but they haven't shown off that one yet

They have shown off a kind of electric baton that the Ranger has. I'm not 100%, but I think that's the only class that they said has a permanent offensive melee weapon, same way the Colosus has the shield. I've not heard about the Storm having a sword though? Maybe the Storms sword is some kind of extra mod or 'magic' ability?

Yeah. It's also a solid reason to change things and/or add more areas and content. The world is literally unfinished and parts of the tools of Creation malfunction at random. Where did that new continent (DLC) come from? Some Shaper artifact activated.

I love it when you tell a story Byf! And thanks for making it clear about the origin of humanity in Anthem (been wondering about that and if there's any relation to Earth). You've answered my questions nicely. I've tried the VIP demo of Anthem and it BLEW ME AWAY! The gunplay is nice and tight yes, but of course, a game is more than just the battles - its also the lore, and Anthem's lore seems very promising too :) Here's for a great and long-lasting adventure!

It's crazy I just started playing anthem but I remember byf from my destiny 1 lore days...and destiny 2 respectively. But now that I found anthem my Christmas gift to myself is this as I learn more about anthem I am totally blown away by the getting to listen to the master do his thing I am grateful!

The tech of this game reminds me of a PC game that I love called Kenshi, sorta high tech but in a ravaged world where tech reall stands out. It wasn't even the B team that made Mass Effect. EA took one of their smaller studios and renamed them "Bioware Montreal" so they can still say "made by Bioware". At least, that's how I heard it....

Raymond Blanton me too. All the noise coming out of Bioware has been good, especially from monetization point of view. Fingers crossed this is the game we have been waiting for. A coop PvE that's got a great long term end game, with lots of lore and story and doesn't try and empty the wallet of every player that joins in! God, I hope it delivers!

Ultimate and Diablo III has been announced for the Switch as well.
