The whole point of the PDA was to continue to build upon that. I have read about what they fought against, forced marriage, the enslavement of women to Islam. Also we communist don't usually go about promoting individual terror, this was the mistake of of the anarchist in czarist Russia, they thought that by just blowing up the czar it would bring change. All it does it lead to a new king and apathetic and scared populace. The Red Terror in Russia was related to the Russian Civil War, and was about destroying the enemies of the revolution, after the Bolsheviks seized power. Sayyid Qutb was anti socialist who fought against Nasser's Soviet backed regime in Egypt. Sure, he was a revolutionary, but only similarity I see to Leninism is his idea of a vanguard.
