Edrell Mandrique Same here. Literally none of them. Not even an opened chest to show it was there but someone beat me too it. Just straight up nothing. Even in some locations where for example there would be some rubble next to the spawn location, the rubble wouldn’t be there. I’m assuming some form of update has moved the locations. An update to this video would be amazing!

Doing this is in October 2020 - and none of the chest are there. I appreciate the guide because it's detailed and easy enough to follow. I just wonder if this is so RNG that it's not always going to show up.

Can confirm. As of Thursday, 21Mar19, this run is viable. Found several one run, more so the next, and none the third. lol RNG be a harsh mistress.

As of 2022 still usable but spawn rates are low likely to never change since no game updates. If you are trying to do this for the Trials quest step just do public events, you get them at tghe end and its easy to stumble upon random chests since your compass will notify you of a interactable.

This was equally helpful and unhelpful, not gonna lie. Maybe it’s the way you speed up the parts of you actually flying to the next place, or maybe it’s just the way Anthem’s map works, but I had way more trouble with this than I should have. Maybe I’m just bad at Anthem, I dunno.

Done this 3 times. First time literally nothing, second time nearly all of the chests spawned and third time i only found two. They obviously haven't removed this completely but still nerfed it bnadly.

Similar to the one I learned from a video I found here on KZbin but way less back tracking and flows together perfectly. I even added 8 more chests to the run to make it around 45 possible chests. I only seen one location in this video I didn't know about so thanks for that. Good video though for people looking for an alternative to strongholds and contracts. I also do world events on my run. Between yesterday and today I've gotten 7 legendaries and 45 masterwork items.

I'll take a look at these locations, but it may be that BioWare is changing the chest spawn areas with every update and hotfix to make it harder for people to find and share. Edit: had a look for myself a few times, only 2 were in roughly those area.

It is completely random on if the chests will be there or not. However, to get the most out of them, it is best to have unlocked grand master 3. At lower levels, I have received nothing but crafting materials and 2 uncommon items on hard with 10 separate runs. In contrast, while doing contracts and missions I have received at least 20 uncommon drops in comparison. And I have just got to the section where I have to make contact with my old partners.

January 7th 2021, found 2 chest out of all. It all depends on Rngesus i guess... and maybe the difficulty? I was on Hard with a lvl 4 character and 9 power or so...

You said go east to the watchtower. You went west. Took me a while to figure out your mistake. Half of these chests aren't there anyway. Better off just exploring & finding yourselves. That's what I did. You'll run into them often.

Harvest refers to better drops from harvesting from plants and minerals.

@@FlyfishermanMike Bigger drops, technically. If you would normally have had 3 chimeric compound with no harvest % modifier, you'd get 6 chimeric compound with 100% modifier total. However, you wouldn't be more likely to get a better ember, or get two embers instead of one.
