A whole new world was secretly in development for the last while. Fun fact; I datamined this map on accident and kept it a secret by request. Last night we were given access to give first impressions and show you. There's many mercenary facilities and tons of other cool things!

@@rxttingcoprse I've been here for 6 years, you gotta appreciate the work of the devs sometimes, even if the game and balancing itself is still flawed. Nothing wrong with showing appreciation now and then, after all, this is probably one of the best dinosaur games out there, and not only that, it has lore that brings a mysterious and horror type of atmosphere. It'll be a long time until the game is complete, but I see it having a lot more potential than Legacy did.

Mechanics in POT are not at the same level as the the ones in isle, but pretty sure after this one patch we could see updates dropping faster now. I mean POT have basic mechanics, thats why they dropping Dinos more faster. But i get it i been here for 5 years waiting for a game.

Yep been playing pot now. In my opinion pot has surpassed the isle in every way. Look how long evirma has been out and this is the only dino options we have... But yes let's make a new map. Stupid as hell. That's the isle for you. They spend 90% of their time making maps and calling it new editions of the game and making all these fantastic claims of what's coming and then it never comes. I don't even know why isle devs even bother with road maps anymore. We all know they ain't going to keep their word. We should have all the legacy dinos by now. And people will of course make excuses for the isles devs. What it comes down to is they bit off more than they can chew and have horrid management and priorities. The isle is going to be like 7 days to die and forever be in beta.

just so you know the increased stam is because you were younger and not fully grown as younger dinosaurs can run for longer and have more stamina (they are weaker however when it comes to brute force)

Also, this map doesn’t have everything, cuz the devs don’t want spoilers, so make sure to check it out when it releases. This is such a beautiful looking game, it realy is cool. About the water, that stuff is stunning! I absolutely love how water has progressed in videogames recently. Another good example of beautiful water is Horizon: Forbidden West. If you fancy water watch a clip of it it's beautiful.

In the new gore system different organs give your dinosaurs different buffs. Also a youtuber calle islander played as a human in this game. I think it was still in testing but it does signal that humans are playable but not yet ready to be released. Also I think the mission as a human would be to reach the radio tower. Also playing as a human is like you are in a movie. Also to get the organs you have to bite the carcass and I think grab a chunk of meat. Then you get an organ instead of a chunk of meat.

@@AvengedPanzer Its likely that humans will likely be a jack of all trade characters or specialized depending on the roles on each isle. So if that's the case then they would need to be capable of different roles and objectives well trying to hunt dinos or survive from them. Thus returning the game to its original horror/survival theme. So hear me out this is a theory only. I think there are going to be 3 branches. specialize to certain roles with one being a jack of all trades but master of none. Mercs: Medium to heavy weapons. These guys are the main group that hunts or captures dinos they can take on small medium and with group effort large dinos. Probably loud however and likely needs access to vehicles or similar. Expect them to be the main antagonist of the Utahs who likely will be their primary targets with carno's being probably the largest dino they could perhaps take down on their own and anything bigger will be either via luck or groups. Merc are there to get the situation back under control. perhaps rescue civillians probably works best in the open where you have clear lines of fire. Although this would put you at risk with pretty much anything that runs or has enough power and weight to tank you. Hunters: Big game hunters specialized in hunting obviously big game, Likely quiet and uses weapons that can quietly hunt smaller prey for food and traps and has specialized weapons in killing large dinosaurs on their own. Likely doesn't have the capability to take out a incoming raptor ambush. Lots of clever raptors in the isle. Could in theory wipe out every dino on the islands. Obviously he doesn't want to get caught in the open Hunters are likely poachers and probably are being hunted by mercs as well. Company assets have to be protected after.. The Survivor: Either a unlucky castaway that fell overboard on a passing ship, survived a plane crash, or is a scientist. Someone that is way out of their element. This one likely has to improvise weapons or light sport weapons like smaller rifles or bow and arrow, can only primarily hunt or kill smaller dinos, with the Utah likely being the main big dino they could reasonably kill along with perhaps the dreaded dillo. I think this one is the one that will fulfill the native option from the original isle. I bet they could be the ones that are able to help uncover the secrets of the isle. They should be able to side with mercs or hunters but more than likely are more trouble than they are worth for hunters and likely has something the hunter needs. They likely might get hunted by the hunter for supplies. Afterall the dinosaurs can clean up the evidence.

Some facts : The description of the game 7 years ago and 3 or 4 years after, untill they change it, was suppose to be hummans and all this things , the developers make fake promese and lie all the time, they was disrespectfull and even insult / ban and threaten people on discord, some of them act like they were Gods, after 3 or 4 years they kick out some of them, i dont remember but the rummor was that not only this guy was disrepectfull with everyone, but i think he was stealing and some other bizzard accusations that i better not mention here, after all that, they continue lying for a year with fake promeses and after that, they made a rework of the game with a new game code, they say that the old one did not work, some time after that, they change the description of the game in steam store , it was the first honest thing they did, now its looks like they are really working in the game and not lying anymore, but more than 7 years and the only thing you can do is 4 or 5 hours hiding to grow up, and then you continue hiding or get kill after 5 min and start the grow up process all over again, its gets very very boring, nothing els to do, even in this video the new things are not out yet and no one knows how long will take to come out and the only new things you get is maybe a new map or expansion of the existing one and some human empty structures ,the progress in the game is so slow that its not worth it in my opinion anymore .

One thing I can say about the isle…whatever you see in game during previews will be around for a year after release before fixing it. So enjoy the new map, the cool graphics and don’t get hyped about new Dino’s new features or fixed glitches. It’s a norm. They still have fish flying into the air, countless map bugs where you fall into the ground and consistent game ending crashes. And I say all this still absolutely loving this game. I’ve been disappointed way too many times expecting a release of something new and awesome just to be bummed about how it was implemented. The team is small, the ideas are huge and the direction is every way but up. Still my go to game.

This map is absolutely beautiful, honestly 1000x better than the current one. Although it will probably be difficult to find players with such a big map, I think it was definitely worth the wait. The lighting is amazing, too.

to sum it up if i can help in anyway, // is Night vision and scent, S is regeneration, and the hexagons is Stamina based, but alot of combinations provide a 10-15% extra buff of some sort, like -15% stamina decay, some with blunt resistance, etc. Personally however, i think that gateway is kinda bare in some parts on land, itd be nice to have a little more detail in the sparse parts. edit: also your diet buffs only activate and count when they reach full capacity, otherwise they stay in a dormant stage where they arent really effecting you at all. and when the diet IS active it glows brighter than before to tell you that it IS active

Little tip for diets, a diet meter only takes effect in your diet when you fill it to 100 and it starts glowing. It lasts until its entirely gone

As long as your diet isnt glowing that means its not good. Diets need to be glowing to be active and if they arnt glowing it means the diet does nothing for you. I cant wait to play this map though, I feel pachys, utahs, pteras, and hypsis will over run those rails the most. Using the rails as both a way of travel and a way of safety, I also wonder if nests can be built on the rails as it allows for some fun nesting areas Also that metal sound is apparently only heard around Highlands, or at least thats where alot of people have been hearing it the most. I dont think anyone knows what it is yet tho
