ANTHONY ARILLOTA BETRAYAL | SECRET GEAS BROTHERS JAILHOUSE RECORDINGS.‪@RealMobStories‬ James Proctor sits down to discuss a secret jailhouse recording the feds took of Ty Geas speaking with his brother Freddy Geas who was already in jail awaiting trial. The news media is blasting that the feds are digging up a property close to Springfield Massachusettes where it is revealed, Anthony Arillota has turned rat and is now helping the FBI with the recovery of bodies. This grave happened to be where Gary Westerman was taken out. So the main players in this is Ty Geas and Freddy Geas. The Geas brothers are associates in the Genovese Family Springfield Faction. They were involved in several rubouts going on in New England. Al Bruno was the Caporegime who ran this Springfield Genovese crew and is taken out. Gary Westerman was taken out around the same time and was the brother in law to Anthony Arillota. Anthony Arillota was a made member of the Genovese family and got made in New York. He ends up taking over the crew later on in Springfield. However, he becomes an informant to get a reduced sentence. Gary Westerman it was revealed was taken out because he had become an informant. He actually started cooperating in 1996 and the cooperation agreement was removed the next year because he got in trouble for passing bad checks. He staying prison for 5 years and then he ends up getting out and he wants to be an informant again. Anthony Arillota realized that his brother in law was an informant and Gary Westerman is lured to his demise. Other people involved include Genovese associate Emilio Fusco who fled to Italy. You also have a Genovese Caporegime that was not involved in the WEsterman rubout named Arthur "Artie" Nigro who was close to the new york guys. Many betrayals happened and I am joined by a former Genovese associate and bookmaker David "Chicky" Cecchetelli who was around all of these guys. Chicky spent time for gambling and is now outside the life. Ty Geas is in prison now for life. Freddy Geas is actually in ADX Florence Supermax as he plead guilty to the rubout of Whitey Bulger. Whitey was takenout as he left USP Coleman and was brought to USP hazelton. He was gone within 12 hours. Very fascinating story and behind the scenes details of what was going on with the Springfield Genovese crew. Another Real Mob Story about the American Mafia. I’m not sure those guys even knew Westerman was an informant. If they did, they probably would have taken care of him a lot sooner. I think the parents of Westerman’s wife (Arillotta’s sister in law) kept whining about this guy because he was trash and got the woman hooked on drugs. I think that was the primary reason for him being killed. It sounds like the Geas brothers just liked killing and thought it’d be fun to commit murder, especially after being somewhat protected by Arillotta’s new status as a made guy.
