Anthony wasn’t that because he hadn’t had his match but Daphne had so she was now just some very wise duchess, having been through similar things to Anthony. @ - It's not as if the show makes even the minimal effort to be realistic. Most of the characters' personalities are exaggerated anyway. As is the culture depicted, which is nothing like the real Regency era.
