Every hall of fame big man acquisition the Lakers have made except for the 2013 Dwight Howard stint has resulted in championships. Wilt was traded from Philadelphia to LA in 1968 and they won a title. Kareem got traded from Milwaukee to LA in 1975 and after drafting Magic four years later that resulted in five titles. Shaq signed in free agency in 1996 a few weeks after trading for Kobe on draft night that resulted in three titles. We got LeBron in free agency last year and got Davis a year later and now that we have two of the best players in all of basketball, I think we might get two, maybe three titles if we can stay healthy in addition to everyone playing their role well and being on the same page.
