Some insights into Plantar Fasciitis as I've struggled with it my whole life in both feet since going way too hard in 3 sports and then a hard basketball game when i was ~12: Plantar Fasciitis is kind of like tightness or inflammation from the middle of the bottom of the foot back to the heel, and the more you run on it and harder you jump and press with it the worse the pain gets. The pain itself is very managable up until it isn't, and becomes debilitating, but the more you play on it or push it, the worse it gets to the point you can be looking at weeks or even months off that foot just to get it under enough control that you can limp around with it. There's not really any treatment other than keeping it loose, or surgery which requires a long time to recover from. Once you have it, you basically have it forever until surgery, but can strengthen the tendon over time as long as you aren't pushing it hard. The issue i see is that as an NBA player, you really never get a break. Especially as a 1A 2 way Superstar. This will be a nagging issue all year, up until and through the post season. If he does get surgery, the recovery might cost him all the way until training camp depending on a lot of factors next off season. The pain ranges from tight, to "someone is twisting a fork at the root of my heel and the whole foot feels like it's going to snap" even 5-10 mins off it during a game can make that pain go from 90% back down to 10% but the more you push it in a day the faster it flares up

I had plantar fasciitis years ago, and it's no joke. My bout was relatively mild, short-lasting, and my lifestyle isn't nearly as rigorous as an NBA player, and that (bleep) was still very uncomfortable. AK

Agree with Brian.. Dlo on the bench wouldnt work to me. What I know for sure it cant work, is trying to make Dlo, Who is the smartest player on the team, digest the thing like is something positive or neutral for him. Even though I liked, from a business stand point, the Vincent for Schroder move, I cant get why we left the guy leave. Schroder can defend can score has guts.. he is quick.. maybe he cant defend Anthony Edwards, but defense would have been much Better now without loosing anything on offense.

I dont agree that he thinks himself the smartest, I think he pretends to be though and a leader, whilst, in reality, he perfectly knows he isnt.. does that limit his intelligence? There is NO way JJ thought it wouldn’t be an uphill battle in the first 10 games. Even the most talented of teams - for example the Heatles - take 20 to 25 games to start “figuring it out” with consistency. If JJ has lost patience this early, his hair will be white and falling out in clumps by the Christmas Day game.

How about we bench Austin and let Dlo be Dlo. Did anyone notice Dlo is shooting the worst percentage of his career. Does that Fall on DLO or JJ? I am not sure where to put the blame but the thing is JJ is the only change and all of a sudden Dlo went from having one of his best seasons to his worst?

I’ve been preaching this back to last year… DeLo should come off to bench, not because he’s bad or less than but because our bench needs a leader and DeLo is perfect to head up that group… knecht would be a good starter cuz so much attention will go to Lebron and AD that dalton can hang out at the 3 point line and prosper. Also why isn’t Q as point of attack defender off the bench 🤷🏽♂️. With his previous performances He deserves a shot 🤷🏽♂️. So Mỹ opinion… you have DeLo, Q, Reddish, Vincent and Christie off the bench…. Of course you’ll need a big always in there

The other 29 Teams unofficially informed D’Lo during FA that He was no longer a Starting PG in The NBA, even after a Year where He Averaged 18 Pts on 45/41/82 Shooting. There is literally not one ☝🏾 NBA PG that He can currently start over. D’Lo is 28/29 Yrs Old in His 10th Year and He’s not gone change His Game so in My Opinion, He will be a 6th Man the remainder of His Career similar to a Clarkson. My personal opinion and approach is simple. How much basketball IQ and shooting can I have on the floor at the same time as possible. For me, D Lo(defense notwithstanding), AD, LeBron, Rui and Christie(if his shot will start falling again). Reeves strongest asset is his effort. Otherwise he’s not better than D Lo in anyway. Reeves needs to be off the bench, where his defensive liabilities are less of an issue
@thebounceph9 сағат бұрын
JJ calling out DLo was inevitable especially with how DLo has been playing. He is still the inconsistent DLo for the past seasons. I can't blame JJ for answering the way he did, he could have done better but I think it's good for the team if DLo responds to that criticism like how he does when he's in trade rumors. On the other side, DLo needs to show out even without these rumors and criticism or else he needs to learn Chinese.

@@FreshWitcher D'Lo's trade value wasn't good enough regardless. That's why he's still on the team. The root issue hasn't changed. And with so many players ineligible to be traded until mid-December or mid-January (depending on when their deals were signed), unless the Lakers get an offer that really hits what they want despite the narrower amount of choices... or D'Lo starts becoming a legitimately untenable problem in the locker room, I guess... they're likely better of making due as is. One Way Offensive Guards Averaging Under 20ish Points in The NBA are Bench Players!!! So, D’Lo will be a 6th Man on His Next Contract but, even AR will eventually fall to a 6th Man Role on His Next Contract if His Defense doesn’t improve or He can’t Average 20+ Points a Game!!! Why??? - Bcuz They will score 15-18 Points a Game but, give up 25+ Points a Game to The Opposing Guard They are Defending.

@LockedOnLakers4 сағат бұрын
It's not common (to the best of my knowledge), but could theoretically be about wanting extra South Bay reps available in the near term for PG's already with there (JHS, Olivari) before calling either of them up. Or having more confidence right now in Bronny as an emergency fifth guard than anybody with South Bay. Or something else I'm missing. In any event, I'd be quite surprised if this remains Bronny's setup for the entire season because it makes no sense for a player who clearly needs minutes/refinement he won't get while logging DNP-CD's with the big club. Frankly, I'd have questions to ask. Appreciate you watching. AK

Dlo could never bounce back if you think he shot .31% from distance when we got swept in the WCP alongside 4 ast while he had the worst WS of the entire team than one year later when we lost in the first round he shot the same .31% from distance alongside 4 ast and again had the worst Win Share of the entire team, this time alongside Gabe Vincent his backup. His fans consider a bounce back for him is playing well in regular season when teams don't have a plan for you and the referees don't allow defenders to actually defend. He is who he is and when he isn't motivated, is on a bad streak or something like that he becomes worse.
