Lebron was the biggest -. For every heat check he had, he dogged it going back the other way. Routinely just stared at people. You can't play one side of the court. he's done it for years and everyone says "he can't do both!" Well why not cut back the offensive "STATbuilding" and push up the defensive effort. Or would playing defense means he just falls apart. You guys are insane. Lebron isn't the reason lakers lost, but he IS the reason they don't have any idea how to build a team. They still need a team similar to what Lebron had most of his career but Lebron CANT do what he did most of his career and he is unable to adjust.

There will come a time when you will have to be honest about Reaves. You can make up all the excuses in the world. He is a horrible defender, and it's costing the team. You put whatever points up, but give twice that much up on defense. That's a problem. I'm not mad nor surprised how it's going with this team. I'm kinda happy, and heres why. It needs to be magnified how horrible of a job Palinka has been doing. And hiding behind AD and LBJ for years. This also goes for Jeannie and her lack of leadership. And sometimes, leadership calls for firing your friends. Lakers fans are over you were Kobe agent. You had a job to do. I think it's time for a GM change. And no more picking your friends. Do a thorough vetting process like everyone else 😂

I disagree about the bad coaching. San Antonio has what is considered the best coach in the world, and without the personnel you don't have anything. And we know as you've said about this which I believe all of it is true. But the players aren't his fault. All these years of Palinka inexperience and the inexperience of the owner is starting to show. They have been so obsessed with tiny point guards that they've traded all our big men. Think about all the players they've picked since we won the championship. But I agree with all you said except the coach.
@TonyG-b2s

@MrExBearPoker There is not a lot of motion in the offense, where you see players coming of short curls for open shots and constant diving to the basket. Poor screening and running around screens. Poor boxing out near the rim. Jaxon Hayes not being taught 1 or 2 low post combination moves so he can be a threat to score, instead of just being a rim runner. This is causing a 4 on 5 situation. JJ Ham allowing TRAFFIC CONE Reeves to continue to shoot anytime like he is the #1 option. If their offense was fluid like the warriors, each player would have more opportunities to make an impact, and the threat to opposing teams would be more pronounced. JJ HAM SAID HE WAS GOING TO RUN AN OFFENSE WITH A LOT OF MOTION AND I HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET! This is why he is a a FRAUD.

What I take away is Brian correctly stating how Cam Reddish does well early in seasons, same was said of Hayes, but both fade. My opinion is instead of coddling Max, AR and DLo how about putting effort into support these two flawed but passionate and needed defense first players. Hayes has off court issues that I hope he continues to get therapy and accountability for so I’m aware. Just value true defenders more than just scorers and good things will happen.

I’ll tell you the problem and it is so clear as day. Just look at the first 3 games where the dominated and then see how it has changed with AD and Lebron feeling like they have to carry the team. With AD it seems like it’s just about getting the respect of being the league MVP and with Lebron it’s him feeling he has to take over cause he feels he can’t trust in teammates. This is Ham play out there. It’s getting back to passing and not overdoing the 3s. Also playing 2 bigs matters.

The more I see basketball, the more I think that the bench isnt that important, if your stars do what they are supposed to do.. according to you guys, the game where Memphis played the Lakers g-team bursts, proves that our bench is the problem.. that doenst make sense. That Just means to me, that the other bench has produced much more than ours.. and then you have to investigate the causes.. and I have a couple: the system; the relationship between the starting guys and the bench (in terms of pure basketball relationship); the Mood of the guys in the bench and their relationship with the starting five guys(and here I mean personal relationship). In the same night, Denver bullied OKC, with youngsters (the same youngsters that, according to everybody Until the previous match, were not ready enough to represent a good bench) and Amazing 2 men game between Jokic and our friend Russ.. same night, showed to me like role players like KCP and Caruso are overrated: if you have 2 main guys in super Sayan mode, There is no role player Who can stop them; and if your team plays Well and there is Harmony, everybody can somehow help..now.. it's the same old topic. We are trying to switch from a One-man-system to a team system.. we have had bad coaches since 2020(Vogel was horrible Sorry), bad in terms of offensive system and bad in management of players, expecially the bench players (THT and Kuz, then Russ, finally the mess made by Darwin in the last season).. when we play One-man-system we loses 9 times out of 10, no matter how many points or how great the One-man-system looks. Everybody freezes.. nobody moves. Now.. the bench.. In 2018, the One-man-system would have demolished Memphis alone.. alone, with no help from the other starters, no help from the bench.. so that's the issue. The bench?! ..no AD, no Rui, no Vando, no Wood.. that's not the bench: that's 4 of our best players, out.. that's the issue.. the best players win games, not the bench.. but maybe the coaches do. Excellent offensive system gurus win games, no matter Who steps up: that's the reason why Vincent looked so good in Miami, and so ugly here. That's on Spo.. maybe JJ One day Will be there.. but in any case, a great coach with a great system, loses against a super star in berserk mode(that's what happened in 2020 when our One-man-system was still the best or the second best player in the world)..
