A Nuggets & Jokic fan here. Here in Serbia we feel nothing but love and respect fan for the Ant (and the rest of the Wolves). It was a tough 4:3 loss for my Nuggets, and even though the Ant was our biggest basketball "enemy" in that series, there's nothing I could reproach to him. I even liked his trashtalking, cuase he backs it up, and it was never an arrogance thing, or being over-confident, he carries his swag with elegance and positivity, and without any maliciousness, he smiles through the interviews even after losses, so I trully like his attitude. I was heartbroken when I read the symbolic behind the number #5 on his jersey. All the hard work you had done, is doing to your benefit now, stay strong young fella.

Ant played ball, averaged 25 and 8 for the series…it’s not his fault the rest of the team didn’t show up every game. Kyrie and Luka are a good duo. They turn up every other quarter giving the other a break and it doesn’t burn them out, while ANT is playing hard a full 48 with inconsistent help
@LonelyBonez75 ай бұрын
Dpoy, an all star by his side, a 6moty and a coty candidate is not enough help. He has plenty of help. The lights were too bright for them and they couldn’t execute. I applaud Ant cause it seems like he was the only one who had heart the entire series

Crazy how fast neutral fans (not talking about Nuggets or Mavs fans) are turning on Ant and the Wolves. Luka is a better player so his cockiness is warranted to an extent, but he equally taunts, claps back at fans, and complains to refs, just like Ant does (and gets criticized for). People want NBA players to have personality, but when they show it they end up getting criticized as being arrogant or unlikable. The Wolves have 4 playoff series wins in 35 years. They have some young exciting players, a likable veteran in Mike Conley, and yet they're suddenly they're getting an over-exaggerated amount of hate. Seems like a team I'd cheer for as a neutral fan but maybe that's just me. Congrats to the Mavs and Celtics.
