Twigs hasn't been alt rnb since LP1, and even that wasnt all alt rnb. Sure there have been a few tracks since, but she's been leaning way further into artpop and such. Her still being heavily associated with rnb after all of these years feels a little... Strange. Especially when shes been vocal about her disdain for being boxed in with alt rnb.

I don't think this is a particularly good track. Musicians coming up with a new word and trying to make a new concept out of it is usually beyond their ability. The music video, while impeccably executed, is much less deep than the aesthetic would make you think. Work sucks, forces you to conform to a repressive standard, but people nonetheless find ways to be outside of that standard in a way that's more expressive of themselves, even while at work. A bit obvious. Lyrics are ok I guess. I almost wish I encountered just the track without the music video because the musical aspects are the strong part, but unfortunately it feels like it's not the most important part of the release. Idk, I feel like this is a case where people are saying it's great but can't really say what makes it great.
