A while Back in late 2011 when I was 9.. I met this girl across the creek from where I lived. My house was on a hill and the the neighborhood across the creek was a trailer park. Inside this neighborhood there was a small park with like a just a swingset and a decrepit basketball court. Being home schooled I didnt have many friends. But one day this groupe of girls were walking down the street and saw me swinging by myself. I was kinda shy so I tried to leave before they got to the park... but they started to chase me and ended up following me all the way home. Once they finally caught up with me. I found out it was mainly the oldest girl idea to chase me.. but that's not the point there was this short shy girl named Dakota.. we ended up becoming bestfriend!! we would see eachother every day if we could! In the winter the creek would freeze. Literally a frozen creek would separate every year and I remember feeling so sad a powerless...one day the feeling became permanent she had to move a way.. but we must have fell in love cause were engaged now and were pregnant with our first baby

I still remember the day I heard Circa Survive for the first time 20 years ago. Bought Juturna right away, and have since bought all other albums day one from Circa, and even Avalon. Have been to so many live shows and still listen weekly to you and your bands. I was in shock for weeks when I heard about TSOAF. You're one of my all time favs hands down, no contest. SOOOO many fantastic memories that I'll cherish forever. Wish you and your family the best!

On my birthday March 12, you'll be playing in the city of who I believe is the one that got away. When she and I met, we found a common interest of our love for your music. It blew my mind because I've never met anyone that is a fan yours in any way. But things got extremely complicated to where she had to move away. Because life and love is complicated.
