I learned more about Katharine Hepburn from Anthony Hopkins in this interview than through any written biography. Two fabulous actors and ... individuals. I miss Katharine and am so happy that Anthony continues to appear on the screen.

I am glad Hopkins mentions what a great sense of humor Hepburn had since it's usually not brought up.

"I admired her genuine lack of modesty. She's always known who she is." I love that. I'm glad he said it. I've always felt that way about her, but I've never been able to put it to words. That was a nice tribute. :)

Thank you for posting this! I've only recently discovered her films (I saw Dragon Seed on TCM) and so I'm new to all of her work. It is great that as kids of present and future generations will be able to have a chance to discover artists here on YT.

“The Lion In Winter” was probably the best acting I’ve ever seen on film. Katherine Hepburn and Peter O’Toole were unmatched and the writing was superb!

I love Katharine Hepburn! She did have that wonderfully unique voice. I would have loved to have seen her do a film with Barbara Stanwyck- did she?

In 1940 Katherine Hepburn was a maid-of-honor at Vivien Leigh's marriage to Lawrence Olivier, that must have been one damn classy wedding.

4:19 - 4:25... Christopher Columbus... he did use her voice as a model for the voice of Hannibal Lecter. He just lapsed into the Lecter voice there! lol

Even in this voice over he does not follow her advice: "Don't act, just speak the lines."
