It shocked me that Cormier was considered the underdog in this fight. Don't get me wrong , I knew ALL about AJ but Cormier was just too damn good. 2nd best only to Jones in all of light heavyweight history.

DC only has 6 fights at 205, only 2 of his wins are against anyone actually good, Pat cummins, Hendo on a 3 fight losing streak (evans, machida & Belfort by 1st rnd KO) does not make him even top 3 of LHW history, Prime Shogun before his knees broke is easily #2 Vitor Belfort beat Hendo twice & Rumble in less than 1 rnd while DC struggled, Gus has been choked easily by Phil Davis in his prime. DC literally only has a belt because the actual champion was stripped, are we forgetting this ?! It was a 50-45 his performance was worse than Glover & Rashad.

The man went almost his whole career without losing even a single round. Not only was he an Olympic wrestler he had great cardio and a chin. Look what AJ hit him with!!! AND I ALSO said Cormier was the 2nd best of all time BEHIND Jones. Jones got stripped. Cormier couldn't help that HE was better than EVERYONE ELSE.

I remember this fight. I did not know they had 2 fights. I was afraid of rumble johnson and he was so terrifying opponent. I was rooting for DC and I have known how entertaining fighter Johnson is. After watching this I can say that Johnson could have win this if he has controlled his aggression but who can blame him Daniel is a monster on the ground. Johnson could have been a champion. Like how he can beat DC he could beat Jones too but its just the ground. If the ground was not an Issue he surely would he the champion that I would he rooting for.
