Great comment! Joshua has proved now that not only can he knock you out and hurt you but he can box extremely well too. He showed better skills in there last night and was light on his feet for the entire 12 rounds, he totally neutralized Ruiz right from the start. A Joshua that fights like this against a fully fit Fury has the recipe for a great fight.

@Bles Okay to be fair, Deontay started boxing at 21. So he would've been only 2 years into boxing at the time. Deontay is a decent fighter, has an above average chin (really not sure where the ceiling is), and is a monster finisher. He many not be better at "boxing" as Tyson, Joshua, and Ruiz, but he does have the heaviest punch. Personally my rankings are: 1. Tyson 2. Joshua 3. Deontay 4. Ruiz but might change in a year. who the fuck knows

no your listening to casuals not real fans i am a fury fan and you cant diss this style from AJ as fury does the exact same thing, kept the distance and jabbed his head of and great foot movement he came with a wlad type style he has a 10 inch reach and 4 inch height the man took this and used it thats smart boxing what did the haters want this man to do? go toe to toe with this guy again? that would be foolish as we seen what happeend when he tried that the first time, british fans need to start supporting the british fighter, he done what was needed against this style of fighter im a big fury fan and glad he won he schooled ruiz and done what was needed, but in saying that the AJ fans i always heard slagging off furys style and saying "he runs and boring" etc now have to eat there words as there man has done a fury/wdlad style performance but we always gonna get these type of fans that cant just appreciate great boxers.

lkm Sure I don’t. Says the man behind the keyboard. That wasn’t a great tactic at all from Joshua. It was the worst attempt of using Mayweather defense I’ve ever seen. That jab was decent enough but when Ruiz retaliated all AJ did was run and clinch. I don’t want to hear from you. We all know Ruiz would have KO Joshua if he wasn’t arrogant. He’s ducking wilder too. ENOUGH SAID! NOT GONNA HEAR YOUR BS!

DJ Rango it wasn’t an attempt at mayweather defence. He played the sport of boxing the way it should be played, tactically, which gave him the win. If you don’t like that, don’t watch boxing. Not every fight has to be a slug fest.

Bullshit! When Ali floated like a butterfly and stung like a bee, he was praised. Joshua does it and actually engaged and rocked Ruiz several times and caused bleeding on his face. Now he gets bashed for it! GTFOH. You are tripping. Ruiz failed to show championship mentality and go after Joshua especially when he knew he was getting outboxed. No excuses! That man lossed and Joshua won fair and square this time.
