I came off a council estate started hod carrying in milton Keynes when there wasent even one brick laid, no forklifts used to get ahead so I could jump on the trowel running the line. Worked most weekends doing Homer's they were good days no health and safety you got to keep some of what you earned, sad to say unfortunately you won't get the opportunities we got ie buying cheap houses to do up, good luck in the future my advice is join the fire service you will be retired at 55 with an andsome pension!!
