I have no idea what is going on in boxing any more since the saudis have started throwing money at everyone... The rankings are basically unimportant anymore - it's just about the saudis staging fights now.... We have had some very good contests - although the crowds at these events have been as exciting as a tea dance on a wet sunday - but boxing is just a total mess now as an actual sport. I've never been a fan of the saudis using huge amounts of money to make everyone forget their terrible human rights record, but money seems more important than morals so here we are. Watching hearn, warren and their boxers dribbling at the cash on offer.

They won't. If Hrgovic fights Dubois it won't be for the IBF belt. Unless all the fighters ranked above Dubois in the IBF rankings turn down or can't fight against Hrgovic for IBF belt in which case Dubois vs Hrgovic could be for IBF belt. If Usyk was to beat Fury and Fury then fights Joshua rather than rematch then Usyk would fight IBF mandatory Hrgovic for undisputed. The winner of that would be ordered to fight Parker (WBO) again for undisputed. In the meantime Joshua and Fury have 2 fights, Fury then retires. Parker would then be ordered to fight Joshua (the WBC mandatory) for undisputed

1. Zhang gasses out completely by round six and becomes stationary, barely throwing any punches at all for the rest of the fight. See Parker v Zhang 2. Zhang wont go launching crazy at Wilder like Parker did because of his bad stamina. 3. This will allow Wilder to recover easier and maintain his stamina better vs Zhang and make it easier for him to launch the big right hand. On a different note.. this channel is far too British boxing centric. Not sure if it is Talkboxing or TalkBritishBoxing.

I suppose to a certain degree parker was the same especially when he lost to Joyce now all of a sudden parker is not done. I see your point on parkers punch and fury and it makes sense. I had gone of the times he showed he had some kind of power to knock anyone out especially in the dillian white fight.

He's not. If possible he'll fight Fury (or maybe a 3rd Usyk fight I hope not) next for all the belts except the IBF. If that can't happen he'll fight Hrgovic for the IVF belt. Either way is a title shot for him. Obviously a Fury fight is way way bigger. If Usyk beats Fury I'd like to see Usyk v Parker.

@@mikestray76 but Simon is right, if your goal was truly to become 3 time champ, why would you allow anyone to talk you into giving up opportunity once you finally get there. There's a lot of IFs with your plan. If he beats Hrgovic next then the winner HAS to fight AJ. Otherwise he hoping Turki can pay them enough to not take the rematch or he'll have to sit and wait for them. If Dubois wins and is elevated to champ, Frank is definitely going to insist on a rematch clause. It's too risky. He should fight Hrgovic next with a clause that he can pull out to fight the winner if there's no rematch. That way it's only one fight and then you're next in line regardless. Eddie is fckn up IMO

He's next in line anyway though. After the Fury/Usyk fight He may get to fight the winner for unified (all but IBF belts). So that's a unification title fight and if it happens to be against Fury will be the biggest such fight in history so that makes sense if it arises. The IBF will order the winner of Fury/Usyk to sign within 10 days to fight Hrgovic within 3 months for the IBF belt. This would by default be an undisputed fight. However the winner of Fury / Usyk may rematch in which case they would relinquish the IBF belt. The IBF would then order Hrgovic vs Joshua for the IBF belt. So Joshua will get a fight for the IBF by default if he doesn't get the unified fight against Fury. Should that occur then the new IBF champion (either Joshua or Hrgovic) will be next in line for an undisputed title fight against the winner of the Fury / Usyk rematch. The undisputed champion who emerges from that will be ordered by the WBO (next in line) to fight their interim champion for the WBO belt (and by default for the other belts also which means undisputed). That would be a fight against Joseph Parker. Convoluted I know maybe a summary could be Fury vs Usyk = undisputed. (pretend Fury wins) IBF orders Fury vs Hrgovic for IBF and by default undisputed. Saudis pay enough money for Usyk to not activate rematch This allows Fury to fight either Hrgovic (IBF mandatory) to keep belts together. Or Fury could ditch IBF belt to fight Joshua in massive Wembley fight for the rest of belts. If Fury vs Joshua then in the meantime the IBF orders Hrgovic to fight next in line (possibly Usyk now) for IBF belt. WBO is next in line for mandatories so unified champ lets say now Joshua now ordered to fight Parker (WBO interim) for unified which could set up potential undisputed between winner of Joshua / Parker vs winner of Usyk / Hrgovic. @@mikestray76 you might be right actually... from memory IBF would order a fight for vacant belt, where the WBO would appoint the interim as champ. Hmmm... maybe his play can work. So AJ basically needs IBF to order him to fight Hrgovic as opposed to making a voluntary challenge himself?!? Also Fury already said he's going to drop all the belts except WBC if he wins, so AJ definitely won't be able to get undisputed only the lineal. But had AJ beat Hrgovic before that 10d window then had he got the winner before a rematch then his fight would've also been for undisputed. But ultimately I think everything else you've said makes sense..

All though qilder looked terrible against parker. Parker is small and kept his chin, head and body low and pressed wilder on the back foot. Zhang is upright and tall i think wilder can catch zhange and im certainly not a wilder fan
