Even for the speech part - Sure, Sam can come up with a great/hilarious speech but Bucky's speech would be much more emotional/have more sentimental value. He has been there with Steve through thick & thin & knows him inside out and when it comes to speeches at a wedding, that is what matters the most - being able to remember the memories that they've made together and I don't think there's anyone else besides him who could relate to Steve as much as Bucky does.

Sam was there for Steve as he got used to the new century, was the only one Steve felt he could go to for help, Sam broke out of prison and went on the run for years with Steve, they fought on each others side...I'd say Sam's would be a damn emotional speech about loyalty, trust, and just being a damn amazing friend. Please don't reduce Sam and Steve friendship to "his speech would be funny", it run much deeper than that!

@@candiegray4037 I'm in no way reducing Sam to anything, neither am I denying that Sam hasn't had incredible experiences with Steve. Ofcourse he has had all that. Infact, his speech might me more emotional owing to the fact that he got to go on this journey with someone he looked up to. But that is not what the point is. Steve has had something like that with Tony too (he was even close to Natasha). The thing is, Bucky was Steve's best friend since childhood. He has seen AND loved Steve even before he became Captain America. Every character has their own equation with Steve but Steve's equation with Bucky cannot be compared to them. He started as, for lack of a better word, colleagues with most of them and eventually got close to some. On the other hand, he grew up with Bucky. Bucky witnessed his struggle and his sheer will power even when he lacked the strength to back it up and then later got to fight by his side when he had super-strength. The always-righteous-and-known-for-being-idealistic Steve Rogers was willing to risk it all just because he believed in Bucky (Civil War). Steve legit froze when he first heard Bucky's name after all these years. And even from the life experiences pov, Steve has lived in two different time periods just like Bucky, which again, helps them understand each other better. Therefore, No, I am in no way diminishing Sam's relationship with Steve - it's unique in its own way but Bucky's relationship with Steve is something different altogether and I see him as Steve's best man.

@@Anjushree You say you're not reducing his relationship with Steve but you equate Sam's friendship to Tony and Natasha, when they're all wildly different and not in the same level at all. And I know Bucky has a special place in Steve's heart but you can't deny that in Steve's new life on the twenty first century, he hasn't seen a lot of Bucky as a friend - he fought against him, then he searched for him, when they finally met again he then he fought with him, then Bucky went under, then he got dusted. Steve and Bucky were what you said before they both "died" but Steve was forced to move on and Bucky got brainwashed, it's not the same relationship now as it was back when they where in the 40s. Present-time Steve found in Sam the person who would go to the end of the line with him, so much so that he left his entire Captain Amercia legacy to Sam. So it's undeniable that their bond is incredibly close, and I feel like both Bucky and Sam would give incredible speeches at Steve's hypothetical wedding (which apparently neither would attend cause he chose to not care about them and go back in time) but Sam knows the Steve he is now, the Steve that he's become and I feel like that's irreplaceable and neither Bucky, nor Tony, nor Natasha are the same as Sam. Heck, in the first episode of Falcon and the Winter Soldier Sam already delivered a good speech about Steve! If you agree or not that's okay, but I loved writing this either way cause I love sending out my Sam Wilson appreciation to the internet.

I feel like Bucky would actually give an amazing speech. It might not be the most charismatic or showy and start out pretty rough, but the _weight_ of how genuine, truthful, and loving it is would be immense. It would be short, but end on a high and it would mean _everything!_ This the guy who started "LET'S HEAR IT FOR _CAPTAIN AMERICA!"_ and "I'm with you to the end of the line, pal." Bucky gives some powerful, supportive closers.
