He approaches the acting profession with the same respect that a lot of British actors do. You can't get cast for roles and be well known here without gaining the respect of your craft from guilds, boards, theatre directors. Hollywood looks for people who look lucrative and turns them into actors. That's why a lot of UK movies are purely passion projects but have so much cadence and personality that they are a joy to watch, but their subtle well crafted messages are lost on the majority of international viewers. Give Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Daniel Radcliffe, Paul Bettany, Tom Hardy etc etc the correct roles and script, and they as working actors will bring the movie to life.

He is kinda narcissistic for going on a rant about big stars no longer being a thing just because people don't see him as a big star and watch his movies just because he's in them. There's still names that sell a movie to certain people but Mackie just doesn't happen to be one because he haven't had enough memorable actor-defining roles

Yeah. Not a huge fan of his acting ability. Something not quite believable about him. Has a little bit of Early Will Smith in him where you can tell he's trying to act. This is the exact problem I have with so many people I see wanting to be successful with music also (and this is coming from someone who wants to be successful in music) - do you care about being personally famous more than you care about the creative endeavor itself? Cause it really shows when you're the former - just look at any artist who's trying to conform to whatever the most mainstream sound as possible is so they can slap their name on it as opposed to those who care more about writing something that excites them artistically.

Isn't Makie the actor who's character at the conclusion of "End Game" was the recipient of 'Captain America's famous shield? If so, then we can hardly be surprised, should 'Captain America' appear in any Future Marvel movies to see that Captain America has been franchised by movie makers making movies specifically for the "Woke". Makie is hardly saying anything that Super Hero fans don't already know. After all, Even the "Captain Marvel" character was originally a Man. And, it doesn't require Spidy-senses to see that even the Batman & Superman characters are obviously getting an inclusive pronoun makeover. Too bad the current generation of Writers & Movie Makers lack the imagination to create New superheroes instead of just reinventing the old ones. Don't hold your breath waiting for any adjustments in the Wonder Woman character. But now that they've killed off the Iron Man character, frankly I don't even wanna think about the way they probably intend to resurrect it.

This is why you get emotional seeing them in 'ridiculous costume saying 'gibberish'. It's because they are true actors, they can pull off Sci-Fi. That's why I don't like people like The Rock, he does the same types of movies yet you don't care. So, people like Martin Scorsese can say Marvel is not real cinema but that's not. If you have good actors, they can say the most ridiculous things and you care, you feel it. He can say Superhero movies are all the same but every movie is that way. You go see a horror, you are bound to scare, you go to see a thriller, you will get what you expect. But it's the actors and the creators who make the movie great and not some cheese-fest. But what do I know?

Why people care so much about celebrities ( actors ) opinions ? There is nothing special about them ... this is overpaid group of society with drugs or sex addiction problems. That is it. I rather ask my barber for his opinion

Same here man, wanted to become a movie writer and producer but then realised you need a shitton of money to even get the cheaest equipement which will produce a mediocre product and you'll be out of funds to advertise and even if you advertise the other movie giants like hollywood ofc then theres bolylwood and the french film studios would outshadow you like nothing so i became a fucking evnironmentalist, living the dream everyone....
