MMA Fights honestly I’d place him next to Michael Jackson. They’re two of the greatest artists to ever live, in two of the most popular genres of music in history. Michael’s the king of pop, and then we have Elvis who’s the king of rock, and then Eminem... the king of rap CHANGE MY FUCKING MIND! 😂 Edit: OH! And obviously there’s other genres like country which I’d say Tim McGraw or Garth are the kings of. But when it comes down to just greatest ARTISTS of all time, excluding genres and just saying all music, I’d have Michael Jackson and Eminem are the GOATS! There’s very few old people you could ask that wouldn’t know who MJ is obviously, but there’s also few that wouldn’t know who Eminem is.... and I think that’s a big thing when it comes to greatest of all time. Ask a 60-70 year old person who like Drake is, or EVEN Kanye West! They don’t know! Ask them “have you heard of Eminem” and they’re like “oh of course I’ve heard of Eminem” whether it’s in a good sense or bad? They know about him. EVERYONE DOES! They’d probably know about him more over Biggie and Tupac! That says a lot and nobody uses this argument. Eminem is bigger than Biggie and Tupac. Just imagine when he dies.... 🤯

Eminem is just consistently dropping mind blowing rhymes. He was unbelievable back when he was unheard of and he is still dropping jaws decades later. He's destroyed countless rappers and critics with his ability to attack himself and self analysise his past, rise to fame, controversy, personal life, status and relevance in rap and pop. He can tell it sad, angry and get laughs all in a verse. He's written some off the best songs ever, raised the bar so high with his skills that we are getting quality rhyme schemes back in rap songs. If there was a class on rapping in schools, Ems rhymes would fill the textbooks. I'm not denying great rappers like treach, biggie, Nas etc, but no one has consistently shone in so many different areas as Em. He's the greatest and most relevant rap artist of our times. Just my opinion.

Can someone please tell me how em isn’t one of the 5 best lyricist of all time if you don’t like his voice or flow that’s fine but give the man respect and look up his early freestyles he doesn’t have to be your top 5 favourite old school rappers I’m talking about top 5 lyricists

He gave his due respect, but it wasn’t a question of top lyricists, it was a question of personal favorites. Em is definitely one of thee best lyricists of all time, but he’s not everyone’s favorite

He was so dope in 8 mile. Dude really came off like a real ass goon for the most part. So to see how fun loving he is in real life was jarring. Great actors have a way of doing that.
