my name happens to be Anthony lol, that's one of the reasons at the tender age of 12 I liked him but he had one of the prettiest forms in that 00's era. I was crestfallen when LA traded him. And we didn't even know Shaq would still be coming so that made me even more antsy in those waning days. BTW, He was low key mega popular because his fan mail happened to be amongst the heftiest requests according to Chick.

Probably something about that tit-biting incident.

I still don't understand why Mizzou will not Retire the #44 Jersey. How many Records does Peeler still hold and how many would he have if he didn't miss about a years worth of ball..... Thanks for posting this. If I remember correctly, Roy Williams Said after the game that it was the greatest performance he had ever witnessed from 1 individual.

Don’t know why KZbin suggested this video but I’m glad it did. AP was nice. I loved him as a laker

Sportscaster Dickie V was writing his NBA ticket the whole game...I miss those games when the Sportscasters where the gatekeepers in college to advance to the pros. And AP did our hometown proud !

This guy was amazing and his NBA career wasn't bad either, I was about 14yrs old at this time and I miss this kind of Missouri basketball, I agree retire his jersey.

I was at the game. It was one man against the entire Jayhawks. I remember it clearly. We just cannot put MU away because of one man. Remember we had 15 thousands screaming fans and he pull cold water over us shot after shot. Thanks for the memory. Respect

Kinda ironic, because one of Peeler’s reasons for coming to Mizzou was because he said he “didn’t want to be a one-man team,” and yet here we are! 🤣🤣
