Kpop is really varied. Like Suga said, people say kpop is a music genre but is so much more than that, because there are so many different genres within kpop, not to mention its other characteristics like the dancing, the storyline if thats the case... I can't explain it well in english but basically the spectrum of kpop is really wide and varied. So there are kpop songs with that "butterfly music" style like you said and songs with this kind of style, but there is so much more out there

If you do not mind a longer video I highly recommend 2019 MMA live performance they turned the award show into their own concert. Best I have ever seen. BTS actually debuted in 2013 so they have been around awhile. There older songs will be more rap heavy they started out as a hip-hop group but they always have some rap in all there songs they do together since there are 3 rappers so they all get parts. Jungkook also rapped in the older songs and if one of the rappers is sick he takes there part in the song he can do everything. There is also an introduction to BTS 2021 version by IDA S that I would recommend it tells more about the members and the roles in the group and some background information.

That's Jin in the pink shirt. He's the oldest in the group. The one in the bike was Jungkook, he's the youngest. The one with the yellow scarf was Jimin. And the one who jumped in the crowd was V. I have never watched any KPOP. But I can tell you, the first video I watched was their Billboard Award performance of Butter. I couldn't believe my eyes. I'm from the 70's childhood era and BTS reminded me of caliber the Jackson's and the Osmond's. The Osmond's, they were huge in Japan and spoke fluent Japanese, were versatile for that time like BTS. I know there is no other group on the planet today, doing what BTS is doing. They have transcended far beyond KPOP category.

BTS is their own genre, no k-pop slackers here. They don't just regurgitate a hit in their MVs, they create a story that the listener can buy. "It's OK to lose" , but the message is keep going forward and 'burn it down'. No CGI, and it gives this important song authenticity and integrity.
