Really impressive. I missed the part where he went 6/17, but these completions are all really good balls. His running skill is mad explosive, great mix of powerful and quick. But moreso than all that, I love his pocket presence. He's already navigating the pocket with the skill and confidence of a seasoned NFL starter. Can't wait for him to continue to improve and prove himself to be the best QB in this draft.

6/17…trash. You want him to be a success, but he wont be. Rushing or “Duel-threat” QBs don’t win SHIT in the NFL. Ok, maybe a random ass Division title here-and-there, but they’ll likely choke in the playoffs if they do that. QBs should run for *crucial* first downs, and maybe a few rushing TDs that are >10 yds. Think Patrick Mahomes. Rarely runs, but when he does it’s for crucial first downs and scores. Thats how QBs should run, if they ever do. Cant win a Chip w/ a “Dual threat”. This is the NFL.

nah, that just has to progress over the next 2-3yrs. The Colts timeline isn't "win NOW" they're going to build a program than can win in the future. The AFC is STACKED with QBs right now. They have to pick their shots. This year will be about getting another high draft pick. Very high, and trading JT for something valuable so we can get another really good tackle.

His pocket awareness is already better than 80% of the QBs in the league.. Kirk Cousins would have been sacked on some of these plays

As a giants fan that man fast asf. He’s too elusive in the pocket he extends plays. Hopefully colts don’t waste his talent. He deserves a graceful development under the right coaching staff. Rooting for him

@@robertkovalesky8343 I wasn’t referring to his stats bud. I’m talking bout how comfortable he looks in the pocket. He was breaking out of sacks, throwing on the run, getting first downs on the ground and in the air. His confidence is great! His stats will be better as the season goes on. He’s a rookie man, what do you expect?

As a gator fan we didn’t do him justice as far as preparing him for the pros or did much for him to succeed at uf. With that said I’m seeing him do some things he didn’t necessarily have in his bag yet like the pocket awareness. He’s very talented and I want him to succeed I think he went to a good program that will take care of him. He just need to play longer than what he’s doing in preseason and be with better talent and when the season starts I think week to week we will see him get better and put together some really good games and led his team to some wins. When he throws my guy is looking like he’s mad at the world he throws so hard 😂 once he gets that accuracy together and I pray to god he does because I want him to shut up a lot of people! Just hope he works very hard and consistent at it!
