Steve is right. There is no onus on the coaching staff to announce his motivations to the media as long as the players and ownership are clear on the plan. The appearance of chaos to the media only has an effect on the product on the field if the CS has really lost control of the team (see: the Cowboys).

Exactly. Things like time management in the game, maybe showing a bit of arrogance in saying that the NFL is easier than college then tapping out, all aside from the historically low completion percentage. Some ass time to put things into perspective feels appropriate while not giving up on AR as a project.

@@MumpyMaceMincess Honestly the time management might have been a bigger reason than the tap out. On the tap out, it was a low percentage chance play at the endzone. During that final drive he chose to trade 5 yards for 13 seconds. The drive ended with the Colts 10 yards outside of field goal range.

Richardson has better weapons around him than Josh Allen did, Allen’s best receiver at that time was Zay jones. Imagine if Allen had a Pittman, downs and a JT

AR sucked in college and he has sucked as a pro. Drafting him was a big gamble. Colts obviously thought it was worth the risk, but there should be no surprise this was the most likely outcome. I hope they turn it around and AR does well. He probably won’t.

This is why I always take these types of videos with a grain of salt. Dude on the right clearly was just reacting to the news headline. It is understood now that the colts did this because of ARs preparation not being at a high enough standard. That is something he changed for the better and they let him start again. This is a good thing and he will start developing now. Terrible take from dude on the right…
