It is so obvious that Anthony is afraid of showing weakness. He's tormented about the idea of not being man enough. He talks about being a kid who cried a lot and a battered husband. He's now overcompensating with the guns. He looks at a black man and is intimitaded. He maybe has some bisexual toughts that he's keeping down.
