@@srta_sinclair4616 You're correct. I will never, ever read the books because based on what I know about the books, they are formulaic, crappy, and sometimes outright sexist. Why would I want to read a book about a cliche lovestory like Simon and Daphne (that includes unaddressed rape) when I could watch videos and read fanfiction about a beautiful, dynamic ship like Santhony? And yes, I know Santhony isn't perfect either. But just like I've told many, many other Kanthony shippers who like you took time out of their day to make sure I know that Santhony won't be endgame, at least this ship is INTERESTING, since it's comprised of two developed characters with personalities. And at least when they're together it's because they both want to be and not because they were caught in a compromising position and were forced to make it work.

@@alliepearson3177 My daughter, I don't know what books you read. They must have been old and dusty books, or maybe it's After books, or Twilight - which sucks - for you to come and talk about the Bridgertons. As you said yourself, you will never read the books, so you will never know what Julia Quinn's writing is like. About Duke and Me (Daphne's book), it's the book I hate, precisely because I hate Simon. And Daphne's personality was also changed in the series, she became more frufruzinha. (as did the personalities of: Benedict, Colin (really? Colin getting interested in Marina?), Anthony (Where is the Libertine with a capital L who loves his family unconditionally and who would NEVER force a sister to marry someone she doesn't like? ???). Now about The Viscount Who Loved Me and the other books, don't tell me that they are little princesses needing to be saved because they are not. Kate doesn't bend over to Anthony (unlike Siena, does she?), She's just the most perfect imperfect I've ever seen. She did not dream of getting married as Daphne dreamed, the only thing she wanted was for her sister to be happy. And Anthony has NEVER loved any woman, least of all Siena (who only appears once in a chapter of the second book and is never mentioned again). Julia Quinn's books are completely comical, with hints of sarcasm, hot scenes and strong female characters. Now don't say that you know WHO the Bridgertons are, because you don't know. You don't know the influence that Edmund ( do you know who Edmund is? I don't think so) was on Anthony's life, you don't know what the brothers went through together in childhood, you don't know about death staff, you don't know about Newton, you don't Know about pall mall, you don't know about tea set, or about the office table, or the bee, you don't know anything, you just know what the series showed (which a lot is not true).

@@srta_sinclair4616 Okay but consider this: I don't care. I do not care what happens in the books because I have no interest in reading them. And you listing off random differences between the books and the series is not going to change that. You seem to grasp that the series is not the books because there are many differences between the series and the books. The series is inspired by the books, but as you pointed out, the plot is different and the characters are different. So the Bridgertons that I know are the series Bridgertons, not the book Bridgertons. So when you say "you don't know who the Bridgertons are, you just know what the series showed," you're actually trying to tell me "the series Bridgertons are the same as the book Bridgertons" when you've just proven that that isn't true. None of which, by the way, explains why it's so important to you to make SURE that people know Kanthony is endgame and not Santhony that you are here making nasty comments about the ship and character on this Santhony video that no one forced you to watch in the first place.
