Surprisingly, the only skip we have in this game is a clip that saves three seconds... in an all bosses speedrun, which I only found a few days ago. This is by far the most solidly built game in the series, all the other ones have gamebreaking skips. Nonetheless, this TAS is easily improvable even without new glitches, considering the RTA WR is half an hour faster than this.

This is has to be the longest TAS I've ever seen. Not sure if major game skipping glitches just haven't been discovered yet or if for once Nintendo made a game that couldn't be so easily broken. Pretty great how Paper Jam is just filled with glitches though and can be TASed in just over an hour. Shows how much effort Nintendo put into that game.

I have found a POoB(Partially out of bounds). So far its completely useless, since by the time you get it everything is unlocked in the area. But anyways, how to do it. Once you have cured the blorbs, go to the housing area of toad town. Get mario inflated with the weird pipe thing. Then, jump up to the shell block. go into the corner between the shell block and the wall. Jump, and press forward for a fairly short amount of time, just enough so that mario and luigi's sprites are behind the shell block. Now, you're inside the shell block(since blocks don't have solid tops). Then, move very slightly to the left. Jump. This will push you out of bounds! Not a single use for this, and I could probably do a long ramble on my theory how this works, but you probably don't want to hear it as the only important thing about it its that that shell block is the only block placed in a way you can do this.

I love this game for several reasons. Two Italian plumbers must fend off a sentient, fire-breathing turtle that's trying to kidnap a princess, and in doing so get inhaled by the ne'er-do-well turtle, along with the royal, her advisor, and some imaginary friend thing. The process of getting sucked by the evil reptile sees the tradesmen, the elites, and the intangible shrink down to the size of haemoglobin, bones, and synapses, which are for some reason all the same size. The characters representing typical responses from a 4-year-old upon being asked what they want to be when they grow up are separated upon being vored by an aquatic animal with a gambling addiction that canonically can create a vaccuum powerful enough to pull the teeth out of a crocodile's mouth from several meters away, and as such the pipe cleaners must track down the remaining characters before finding a way out of their walking and miraculously talking "prison." In order to escape, the medical doctor and heir to a haunted mansion must smack the cells out of internal organs with hefty mallets simply because they got in their way. Doing so may sometimes yield strange mushrooms, nuts, and pairs of socks with magical properties that always seem to present themselves at just the right time. This is just the beginning though, and you'll just have to watch the run/play the game yourself to witness the sheer absurdity of this wonderous game
