Instead of wiping off the squeegee (& wasting that paint) I'd pull it across another blank canvas, over another painting, across a wooden board, on a gellie plate to make prints, across a piece of shrink plastic (to cut out & shrink) or even across a piece of canvas dropcloth to make something fun & funky... the possibilities are endless!

Those came out so well Ant! The colours were so vibrant and fresh looking. I've not seen that method of painting before but I'm really interested in it. I especially liked that large canvas you did, it came out so well. Will you put the paintings on your wall? I wonder if anyone has ever tried painting an actual wall or a while room like that. It would look amaaazing! I am seriously thinking of making a wide painting like your big canvas, for my bedroom wall. I've never done anything like that before but you have inspired me, thanks Ant! It was really good seeing you so happy, you were totally in your element! Have a great weekend hun! God bless you and all those you love.

Thank you for sharing this I'm planning on teaching this to my aunt tomorrow and I'm going to try it tonight too make sure I fully understand it I've read about it but never actually seen it done. My aunt isn't that artist but loves too make art but she easily gets disappointed when it doesn't turn out right or it's to difficult so I try to give her as abstract as possible and I think this will fit perfectly in her skill level with just enough push to give her a challenge but not much her frustrated.

Amazing! (and no textiles in sight!!!) I wonder how it would work to have a second canvas to use up the leftover paint on the squeegie... the result would be way messier and more blended, but could be cool, and then you wouldn't waste so much paint (and make twice the profits on Etsy! 😉 )

You want to know a good way to waste paint? Try paint pours. I've done something like this except I used a plastic card to distribute the paint on a small piece of watercolor paper. PS you can also squeegee in another direction(s) to use up the excess paint. Suggestion: string art.
