We went catless boys! As you guys recall me saying i would be doing 3 separate videos, therefore this video is pretty weird as I had to scramble between other videos throughout this video. Muffler delete and no cat,how does one pass a smog inspection since NY and California are the 2 toughest states for car mods. I live in NY so I assume you have to put factory equipment back on to pass a inspection

You can either put back to factory and then get a smog, or you can get a dirty smog if you know the right person. Mind you I paid for a dirty smog for one of my other cars and the price went up, it used to be 200 but the guy I go to upped his price to 300 and I hit up a few friends to see if they knew anyone and all were 300. But I’d rather spend 300 than to put it back to stock tune and going underneath the car twice to put stock parts back and the second time to put aftermarket parts back in.

I think it over pops. Too many pops for too long. A few pops here and there would've been perfect. Instead it seems it would pop and crackle till it comes to a complete stop.

I agree, thats what bothers me the most cause a few pops for at least 3 seconds would be great instead of all the pops that stay until it goes below 3,500k rpm

@@wymcarstuff2305 no it wasn’t, it’s the god mode tune that makes it pop that much! I don’t have that tune anymore I enjoyed it, but stopped using it as it was pretty annoying to have that many pops

What happens if you run a catless dp with no tuner, i know check engine light turns on but does it affect the car or is it bad for the engine?

Check engine light turns on that’s pretty much it **to my knowledge, not advise** however another thing you can do is get a defouler for your catless downpipe, the defouler pretty much tricks the system into thinking there’s still a cat in there due to the limited amount of air being detected by the 02 sensor. Get a defouler if you want a catless downpipe without a tuner

Need to tune before driving at all i have same set up have to change head gasket and fix head block now caused it to mix oil and coolant just make sure yall are tuned or before you drive it tune it

Yes, within the first 3-5 minutes actually. If it doesn’t go away unplug your battery for 15 minutes and put it back on and drive it again.

No, however I need to inform you that, if you buy a catless downpipe you absolutely need either ktuner or hondata to prevent codes from happening, if you go with a catted downpipe you don’t need a tune so you’ll be fine

If you have the mufflers on not much just a tad bit deeper but not loud, without the mufflers it’s loud drone isn’t bad unless you’re doing 65. Drone hits around higher speeds not so much low rpm

I have a muffler delete and I rate it 3 out of 10 for loud. If I get this catless dp what am I looking at from 1 to 10 in noise, Im not getting GOD MODE.

So it’s been a year since you have the downpipe and I’m guessing you have front pipe done already. How was the smell inside the car?

Never did the front pipe due to me having a muffler delete, I didn’t want it to have any raspiness. The only time it smells is if you have your window down and you’re at a stop other than that when you’re driving you don’t smell it, nor do you smell it at all when the windows are closed

I will admit “see my other comments” the amount of pops is obnoxious and a little annoying. It’s fun every now and then but it would be perfect if it would pop no more than 3-5 times at a time. I don’t think you also realize that installing a Bov in this platform is actually not healthy for the motor (long term) which is what I was stating.

It can be, especially if you park your car in the garage and warm it up, both other than it being in an enclosed area it’s not to bad, I run around with the windows down and I don’t notice it, even at a red light

You won’t hear all those popping sounds cuz that’s the tune phearable has. So exhaust will sound different. I’m running tsp stage 1+ with a catless downpipe from rv6 and it’s louder but does not sound like rhis
