1 - Hey there, this is Anthony Metivier from MagneticMemorymethod.com with a video about how you can get figures in your mind for using in Mnemonics when you’re using memory techniques. So you see these guys behind me here? Hey, by the way, subscribe to this channel if you are interested in improving your memory because there is a lot of material here for you to use. 2 - So anyway, these guys back here, this is in Berlin, Germany, and ah, they are the Molecule Men and I always think of them as the Boxers, and this is a really, really nice image to keep in mind when you see something like that. You know you’re in your city and you’re like - what is that statue called? And you never know. 3 - Or maybe you never ask that question, but getting curious about things like that is really helpful, because if you ever meet a person named Molly and you want to instantly remember their name like that, well you can see her getting in a fight with the Molecule Men as an example - this giant statue. And you can actually place that person in that location, as a kind of impromptu memory palace using location based mnemonics to help you remember something, so that’s another thing. 4 - And you know when you’re studying a language and there’s some words that have like a mol sound in them or a cule sound or something like that? Well then you’ve got the Molecule Men and all you have to do is pay attention to your surroundings and learn what things are called and you will increase your mnemonic vocabulary, so to speak. Because if you have a mnemonic vocabulary, if you have an index of images that you can go to, you’re able to memorise things really, really fast. 5 - And that’s what makes people have these amazing results in the world of memory is that they just have an index of images and figures that they can draw upon instantly. Like that. Their mind is making these associations. So, quick tip for you - pay attention to your surrounding world. Go out and learn what things are called. And remember what they’re called and you can actually use something like this to remember what it’s called because its, er, got a name. 6 - And that name is, itself, memorable. But sometimes, you know, it’s just a matter of, er, using memory techniques themselves in order to remember what certain things are called. Like character names when you’re reading a book, for example. You can make sure that you remember all the names of the characters using different techniques and then you actually have that character as a mnemonic device in your mnemonic vocabulary to associate with other things. 7 - So, this is a really, really powerful technique. Just pay attention to the world, learn what things are called and you’ll be able to use them whenever you want. So this has been Anthony Metivier from MagneticMemoryMethod.com. I am trying to figure out how to put concepts into my memory palace but because they're sentences I'm finding it kind of difficult. My studies are essay based so it's hard to think of ways to remember it. I managed to think of one image but that's it. The thing I need to learn: the advertisement targets a middle class audience with disposable income through the use of the song "sunshine on a rainy day" which was a popular song in the target audience's childhood/teenage years which creates nostalgia. The image I will remember it with: The singer of the song, Zoë, wearing a disposable mask made out of money, playing with a Nintendo DS The singer reminds me that it's the song which creates the nostalgia, and I find the Nintendo DS nostalgic, then the mask represents the disposable income of middle class audience I have a lot more points like that which I need to create images for but it's proving quite difficult

Sounds like you understand the concept very well. It’s just more study and the practice of the techniques from here on in.
