I am a nursing student and need to learn a vast amount of information every week. This is what I've been searching for, for over a the past year. No one else in my class is doing this, and I already started using it on my weekly exams - it's fantastic. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Wow, someone really needed a case of cough drops and 14 gallons of water. Truly love the talk and I learned a lot. However it was truly hard to hear you over the guy coughing and it sounded like he was fiddling around with something the whole time.

Yes, that was unfortunate. This was some years ago and I didn't know yet to ask hosts to turn off their microphones. There are many more equivalent free trainings on my site if you'd like. Thanks for taking the time to comment and I look forward to your next one. :-)

Many people in my school just cram information in and to be honest, I have been doing that for as long as I studied. Thank you for posting this video which just explains how memory can come more easily especially when it comes to academics and I certainly can see myself using them!

Thanks Anthony! So awesome that you could do this webinar and present these methods for so many people to benefit from. Also, very nice to see you pull the curtain back and show how you've applied these techniques in practical ways for yourself.

Thanks for the note! As you know, I'm always trying to get over the demonstration hurdle in order to keep the focus on the how to fish instead of doing the fishing. I'm not sure why I didn't think about a photograph and sticky notes before ... :)

Thanks so much for the video. I've spent countless hours researching mind palaces and you've done the best at explaining the method and you were also the most entertaining.

Hi, I have a question. Perhaps it was already put forward many times, but can you actually use the same location ( with the same methodology of organization) to remember different things? For instance: I was studying for my German exam and therefore I used my house as a memory palace. Then, a couple of days later, I need to study for geography exam. Can I use my house again. I must admit that I am a little apprehensive that I will confuse the visual images that fall within the same station.

Great question. The answer is that you absolutely can re-use Memory Palace stations. Here's a quick primer that shows you the biggest issue that you'll face and how to solve it: www.magneticmemorymethod.com/beginners-guide-to-overcoming-the-ugly-sister-effect/ Hope this helps and look forward to your next question! :)

I actually liked your webinar. But, I have one thing I'm really challenged in as far as memory. I must remember WHERE Scriptures are in the Bible. What do I do if I must know 15 Scriptures and their placement from the book of Psalms? In addition I must know many Scriptures with the book, chapter, and verse(s) all throughout the Bible . What are your suggestions? Thank you!

For this, you could use the Major System to memorize verse numbers.

This is great but how does it work with more complicated things? For example how does it work in Spanish or languages because I find it extremely difficult to implement this skill into those words, for sometimes I don't have similar words that I could relate to. For example I have a Spanish speech and it asks, " Tienes una cuenta de correo electronico? Con Que frequencia la chequeas? How can I use the memory palace to memorize these questions thanks :)

+joseph facada Great question, Joseph. The answer is quite long, so luckily I've written a book to address it. It's called How to Learn and Memorize Spanish Vocabulary and it also covers phrases. More info here: www.amazon.com/Memorize-Vocabulary-Specifically-adaptable-languages-ebook/dp/B00AJE2YRE Thanks for your question and look forward to corresponding soon! :)

Can you further expand into each station you use, for example, let's say you use a couch to hold a memory of a book chapter and remember 2-3 bullet points there but you later reread the book and want to no add another 2 additional points how would you do that?

Sure thing, though I don't necessarily advise it. Check these resources for full trainings on what to do: www.magneticmemorymethod.com/how-to-renovate-a-memory-palace/ www.magneticmemorymethod.com/beginners-guide-to-overcoming-the-ugly-sister-effect/ Thanks kindly for the questions and look forward to hearing back from you about your results! :)

You can create more Memory Palaces or reuse them. If you reuse them, you might run into a few issues. Here's what to do if any occur: www.magneticmemorymethod.com/beginners-guide-to-overcoming-the-ugly-sister-effect/
