Thank you Anthony. Very concise, just what I needed to get me into the slideshow module to create a show for an upcoming gig. Really enjoyed your mellow and measured delivery too.

Thanks Anthony. I love the slideshow lesson. As I travel, I take a lot pictures and from each trip I make a slideshow and play it on my TV and show it to my friends. I am just finishing post-processing my pictures from Middle East and would like to use a video in a slideshow that I never done. Your lesson will help me do it. It was right timing. Thanks again.

Well, just after making the previous post, a friend told me to create a saved slideshow and then turn Lightroom off and on again. Magically the slideshow exported!!! Such is technology!

I think the slideshow module is a great way to present our work and to use some of the remarkable abilities of today’s cameras for video. HOWEVER. In setting up my latest slideshow I find that once all the images and videos are in place and in the right order, neither the preview or play buttons will work. The “processing previews” stops at reviewing #1 and stops. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Anthony, Great video tutorial. Thank you for sharing it. I have tried it and works well but the exported video has a low quality. Do you know any solution for it?

Thanks, I decided after watching your cemetory video to try it myself. Whenever I try to crate one I get an error popup about the "Dynamic Link Media server failed” Restarted LR no diffeeence. I then tried creating an PDF and then i started watching this video. It’s still trying to create the PDF. Do do I have slow machines.

I think you should mention that Adobe makes a product called Spark that is included along with your Adobe Creative Cloud membership, that is easy to use, and specifically made to create slideshows.

Thanks, Anthony, this is very helpful. We just got back from Egypt & Jordan with about 1300 photos, all either RAW or DNG from iPhone, and a handful of videos. I compiled these into about 295 combination RAW and DNG photos plus about 3 videos into a Lightroom Classic slideshow using your very helpful guidance on formatting the slideshow. I was able to add some Egyptian music to it and make a 42 minute video with about 6 seconds per photo. I was able to save it on my MacBook Pro and am looking forward to showing it to my family. Trouble I am having is exporting as a video. It is either very very slow or it keeps locking up. Is there do's and don'ts on type of photo or video that would cause it to lockup or go very slow?

This tutorial is excellent. Sadly, although I used to be able to export videos, I have not been able to export a 1080 video with music for 2 years on two different Macs. The white line under the words Export Video always goes to just under the letter E, but never any farther. Very frustrating as I can't make my slide shows portable and I always have to hook my computer to a TV Any ideas????
@sporter5555 жыл бұрын
I had the same problem and solved it by routinely closing Lightroom and restarting immediately before any export. Only then would the export progress bar move on to finish.

Thanks. Ok, see, I used Sony Vegas for editing for years. Had an easy, automated way to do "Pan and Scan" (10 years ago, and with more options than here). Then I went $$ for Adobe Premiere Pro. No automated pan and zoom stuff. I look online. Everyone is talking about animating images manually. If Adobe would kindly say "Pan and Zoom / Scan / Ken Burns Effect can be done in Lightroom I could have been using this from the start.

Is there a lightroom alternative for linux that's any good? I haven't found diddly but I'm dropping windows. I'll use virtualbox if I must to get by.
