It looks like your develop module class is only an hour long. So what is that - 3 or 4 minutes per tab. That can’t be long enough to teach us everything you know. 😉. You are going to have to fly thru this stuff. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I couldn't agree with you more. There is SO much to know about Photoshop and Lightroom that I know I will never know. I create and sell my art and that of others and both programs are adjuncts to those professional efforts; working on doing photographic assignments for third parties isn't commensurate with my use of them. But, I do have to know and be able to figure out how to get from what I have to what I ultimately want - even if I am not as lightening fast in my travels from Point A to Destination B as someone whose focus is say design or portrait commission photography. Anthony helps eliminate some of the travails of my travels you might say! As he does, I am certain, for so many of us lucky enough to find our ways here and learn from him.

Correction: The CMY/CMYK color model is used for printing, ink, paint, and pigment. K (black) is added to CMY because the pigments aren't ever pure and are needed when printing. LAB is a completely different color model.

Anthony, I am beginning to worry about myself because, I found that video fascinating! Thank you for explaining so clearly the differences between RGB and LAB colors. Your approach to them makes perfect sense - especially the allusion to mixing them in a beeker resulting in a color. I will be joining you and the others for the Light Room forum.

Nice tutorial enjoyed it and looked to use it. My histogram has "L", "A" & "B" under it when I put my cursor on the image, NOT "R" "G" "B" why is that?

I have never touched the calibration tab. Shouldn't I be able to automagically set values for the camera I am using and never have to touch that again?

Just curious if you take a picture of a color checker chart with a Sony, Canon and a Nikon gray balance all of them using the gray patch in LRC using the Adobe Profile shouldn’t the RGB values be very close to one another kind of debunking this whole “color science” theory

Not clear why it is there. What problem is it used to solve? It is the last adjustment in the LRcc adjustments. Why .
