Who I AM:
Hey, fam! I’m Anthony. I’m fired up about meeting you where you are in a real, relevant, and relatable way. Here on this KZbin channel, we’ll be having honest conversations about finding our authentic selves by living life based on spiritual, financial, and mental freedom. At the age of 19-homeless and deep in debt-I turned my life around by becoming debt-free, and I decided to spend the rest of my life helping people avoid the same money mistakes I made. Today, by the grace of God, that’s what I’m doing every day with AO Enterprise. You can rock with me on Instagram @AnthonyONeal or online at anthonyoneal.com.

I work more when I am at home, I don't have co-workers to talk with, and because I am at home, I feel like I need to justify my productivity more than when I am in the office. When I am in the office I feel like I already did my part by showing up and being at the office.

I love the perspective that AO brings to the 9-5ers!!! It’s refreshing. Everyone can’t and maybe don’t want to leave their 9-5, because they enjoy their 9-5. Finally. 9-5ers can blossom and explore other avenues of income and still continue with their 9-5 position. ☺️

I don't understand why people always think working from home means you aren't working. I also am more productive when working from home. Like he said the day start and end blends. And also there aren't the usual distractions at work like dealing with work politics, people disturbing you, people trying to socialize, taking more breaks due to routine....etc.

One thing that I think AO is missing on the productivity side is that there are a lot of distractions at work as well. Noise, coworkers swinging by, more questions and commute time that is mentally exhausting are some things I've had happen to me. Working from home has definitely made me more productive if proper boundaries are set with the family.

I work from home 99% of the time but on the rare occasion I do step into work I go on Friday. Less traffic and less eager coworkers. I''m really popular at work, which is odd because I'm more introverted and when they find out I'm there they come to my office with their pizza and lunches all ready to chat. They are lovely people but I got work to do. This is for all the people who are introverts but for some odd reason people flock to you in the work place.

I work 9 to 5 because I need steady income where my side hustle brings in almost same as w2 but is not consistent. The side hustle provides tax deductions to offset w2 taxes. Headed towards debt freedom. House is few months from being paid off. I have friends that are barely afloat that think me working all the time is crazy. It is just a different way of thinking. Can't remember where I heard it but a single source of income is a threat to your wealth.

I'm 7 mins in and can I just say thank you so much Anthony for keeping your desire for marriage so raw and real. Great interview. I'm happy Stephen spoke about having a career and a side business at the same time. The "9-5" is usually said by people who hate their jobs. I was one of them. I love what I do now, so it's not a "9-5" instead it's my career. And there are many career driven people who have a side business that is an extension of their careers. I see it all the time. 😁

Enjoyed this discussion. Shout out to the 9-5ers with a side business. The guest spoke on SO many of the areas that we encountered and at times have to navigate the balance between functioning in both roles. Working in your in field and utilizing your other talents via entrepreneurship don’t have to be mutually exclusive. Putting effective systems and teams in place is what has made it doable. 15:11 - I love that this topic came up. I believe there is wisdom in knowing as an employer, business owner... that your employees, freelance and contract workers will NEVER be as passionate about your business as the business owner. God gave the business owner the dream... not the employees. The employees, contract workers are there as a gift to the business owner to help bring their vision to life for a SEASON. Sure set deadlines, and expectations... but do it knowing that the employees were not given the dream for the business. They will never be as passionate about your project as you are, thus you should never EXPECT them to be. Seek understanding and show gratitude.... it is not Your team... it's the Lord's team that He put in place for a season to help you bring about the vision that God gave you.

This was EXCELLENT!! Steven had incredible insights & dropping gems fr🙌🏾 he is right also with working from home: social media really depicts the wrong image of work from home ppl to be lazy/slackers & its so far from the truth, it boils down to the individual. I was working from home for a year and change & i worked my a** off, rarely had time to take a lunch break/working 6-7days a week stressed out, absolutely ZERO social life! I became so weak and started feeling really depressed, i brought it up to management several times and said its really affecting my mental health im starting to feel unstable & u know what they did laid me off! So now more than ever i really gotta get the plan on paper and run the play!

Great show as always...I can say running a small business or being a entrepreneur makes for a valued employee that gets the raises and credit due. The mind continues to think outside the box vs the corners that create the space. ~FH

Great video, awesome interview. Dropped some nuggets. I will definitely share this video and info with my followers. I am one who is working towards leaving my full time job to run my company full time. I am going to incorporate the idea of those that love their job to seek opportunities within their company and outside to earn income and create wealth for their family.
