As an az. Resident who hobby has been to explore the state, I was amazed that I can instantly see " where" you are! This was what 500 miles? And although it's similar in makeup it was clear to see the locale.

I enjoyed that very much! Bummer you had to take two years worth of Zero days in a row. It’s amazing how some people don’t understand thru hiking and think it’s silly. I’m so grateful for my strong connection with nature and I miss being on a long trail so much!

Great video, good job, guys! Arizona is so pretty. Is there more elevation No-Bo, or is it more a temperature strategy? It’s cool you guys are hiking buddies even though you live in different places. This trail looks awesome. Uhhh, how many snakes did you see though, lol?

the elevation is roughly the same in each direction. weatherwise, nobo makes sense in spring, sobo in fall. only remember seeing one or two snakes.

started 2/26, which is a bit on the early side. we encountered some snow in the sky islands and north and south of the grand canyon
