i’ve seen them live 3 times now and they’re phenomenal. my niece’s 5 year-old daughter heard them a lot because of me listening to them, and they’ve become one of her favorite bands. took her to see them live in May and she had a blast in her little pink unicorn ear defenders and her rainbow tutu. she made about 10,000 new friends at that festival 🤣

It is 2 layers. You’re correct. He does this a lot on his songs. He even made a little clip showing how he records a “high” growl version and then does a “deep” growl version then he puts them together and it sounds absolutely sick. He's doing harsh vocals, using the false folds, not vocal cords. And yes he has wrestled bears, there's more than one video 😆 There are fry screams, tunnels, lows, goblins, and more in regards to different types of harsh vocals. I highly recommend The Charismatic Voices video with Will Ramos of Lorna Shore, where she puts a camera in his throat and shows you exactly what's happening with the folds to produce the different types of screams. He is capable of producing sounds that sound layered that aren't. Not saying there aren't layers in this song, Im just saying he is very talented and can do sounds that sound like 2 different layers. He has videos showing him doing it. Check out his one take videos of his Doom video game songs. This band is labeled as deathcore. There are videos of him not needing a mic while on stage bc of his powerful projection, I doubt you can find another vocalist with that kind of projection. I see 200-300 metal bands a year and have yet to see someone able to that. Forgive my format, taking notes while watching.
